If I could give 0 stars I would. This clinic specifically caters to victims of MVA and have the STRICTEST possible cancellation policies. I have been a patient of 4 separate clinics since my accident, all of whom have had the "same" or similar policy and all of whom have waived numerous cancellation fees with empathy and consideration. I understand that this policy exists to protects the practitioners to a certain extent, but the inability to be flexible at time of cancelation (including for illness, emergency or injury) is honestly distressing to someone in recovery (especially when I was giving them an average of $900 a month at one point). To be told that you need to pay a cancelation fee on Friday for a Monday appointment because the weekend "Doesn't count" towards the 24-hour cancellation fee requirements is insulting. 3 days is 3 days. They also don't have a voicemail and often miss calls. You literally have to reach out to the owner and explain your situation for them to CONSIDER waiving the fees. This is because the Owner does not trust his receptionists to waive any fees and you are treated like an a****** for trying to take care of yourself. To cater specifically towards physically & mentally vulnerable people and then punish them financially for the side effects and symptoms of their injuries should be illegal. It's definitely immoral. To force people to come in sick and injured or during an emergency for "care" is wrong. Though they have great staff, they can't keep anyone for the life of them. They also try to keep patients at their clinic when a practitioner leaves by not telling them where the practitioner went.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts about your experiences with our clinic. We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to address your concerns.Firstly, we want to express our gratitude for your continued attendance at our clinic and the trust you've placed in our therapists. We are committed to providing exceptional service to all our clients, and it is disheartening to learn that you feel our recent decision not to waive yet another cancellation fee for you, has led to a negative perception of our clinic. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and we have, in the past, exercised the courtesy of waiving cancellation fees as a goodwill gesture to you. However, we would like to bring to your attention that our cancellation policy is in place to ensure the fair compensation of our therapists for their time. This policy, stipulating a 1-business day (not 24 hours), notice requirement for cancellations, is clearly outlined in every confirmation email and digitally signed on your intake form. In addition, many clinics including dentists, have a 2 business day cancellation policy, therefore this is very norm for the health industry. We acknowledge that we have extended courtesy waives in the past, and we appreciate your understanding during those instances. However, it's crucial to emphasize that consistent adherence to our policies is essential to maintaining the sustainability of our clinic and ensuring fair compensation for our therapists. We understand that unexpected situations can be frustrating, and we regret any inconvenience caused. However, it is important for our clients to recognize the impact of late cancellations on the livelihood of our therapists, as they depend on these appointments for their income. While we value your continued patronage, we believe it *** be in the best interest of both parties if you explore alternative clinics that *** better align with your expectations and policies, considering that your review reflects the constant aggressive behaviour we experience when you do not get your way, and we can no longer unfortunately continue to engage in this behaviour. We want to ensure that your therapeutic experience is positive and in ******* with the guidelines that govern our operations. In response to your "can't keep anyone for the the life of them", all our staff have been with us for 5+ years, except the new therapists who began with us recently due to our expansion. Your current physiotherapist is actually retiring completely and moving out of the country, not leaving for another clinic.Once again, we appreciate your feedback and your time with us. If you have any further concerns or if there's anything we can do to assist you in your transition to another clinic, please feel free to reach out.Wishing you the best on your wellness journey.

Elysian responded to my online comment of losing a client due to their strict cancelation policies with lies about our communication stating that I had threatened their staff (completely untrue I used the words "recourse" if they charged my credit card. How they felt that was a threat to their persons is beyond me. Not only was their response disproportionate it was untrue. They also included personal information in their response online that they have yet to remove. I gave them the option to reschedule my appointment or cancel without fees, they chose to cancel. From the comments in this reviews panel it is clear that they have an unfair cancellation policy and care more about enforcing their policy than they do about providing customer service. They had every opportunity to provide a positive experience even due to the circumstances, it is obvious that their service staff lack the professionalism and experience as demonstrated by their overdrawn responses. If they believed their actions to be justified they would provide a copy paste of their policies and stop there, their additional "essay" content is an attempt to justify their position.

This place is sketchy. Self-voted for awards, promoting other staff under the guise of being a consumer, unethical cancellation policies, starting late and ending early. They just want your money and dont deliver on whats agreed on. The essay responses are intense and mirror the phone conversation I experienced. *** reported their dietitian to their College for repeated and blatant ableist insults.

This review/complaint is entirely based on the fact that ******************* had asked both the dietitian and our administrators if we can commit insurance fraud on her behalf. She was asking us to allow her to use all her children's insurance benefits for herself as well, as they "won't be using them". She was also ***et that part of our policy for dietitian is requiring an $85 prepayment for booked follow-*** (you are not forced or required to book follow-***). The reason for this is typically dietitian prepare a week in advance for their appointments, and a dietitian such as **** has an extremely high caseload and cannot take on every patient. She called around 4pm on the same day screaming at our administrators stating prepayments/deposits are illegal, which they are not. She had stated she did not want to come back because we made her feel "sketchy" for asking ** to commit insurance fraud on her behalf. We ultimately refunded her the deposit/prepayment that same day as she requested. In regards to "starting late and ending early", this is also false and our system records the moment she is marked as arrived and taken in, and the moment she is checked out. From the moment she arrived for her 30 minute appointment, taken in, and being checked out, it was exactly 34 minutes. She got her full time with the dietitian therefore this is false. In regards to the "self-voted" awards, the awards are provided by consumers and voted on by consumers by the recognized Faces Awards, *****************, etc.

This reply is nonsense. The standard insurance fraud response from Elysian. Classic. Essay length response. Also classic. It seems highly implausible that ** publically hit up a minimum wage worker whos name I dont even know to ask them to break the law for me. Especially when the other option is I was actually asking for my children to be seen, since my children have previously seen a CHEO dietitian and have on going health concerns. Regardless of the noise, I bought and paid for a meal plan which as of my last session did not receive (their own website states it will be delivered on the second visit). This company does not deliver on whats paid for. As for the dietitian, I will let that play out with their regulating College.

This patient was served with a cease and desist letter for defamation and slander, as we have physical evidence and witness testimonies contradicting all ********************** statements. She is also now being investigated for fraud by her workplace and Canada Life, as apparently we are not **************** that she has tried this at. She is also, now being investigated by her own college as well due to her unethical behaviour as a registered worker as well. In regards to her children being seen, the treating dietitian offered to see her children, but ****************** refused. She clearly stated she wanted to use her children's benefits for her own appointments. This was beyond ******* clear. Regarding the meal plan comment, this is also false and she was provided one.
