      I was thoroughly disappointed and frustrated with the really poor quality of workmanship provided by Dastjerdi and the complete lack of acknowledgment of the numerous mistakes that were made during my kitchen renovations, that has left me with no choice but have most of it redone, after paying Dastjerdi $23,000.Dastjerdi claimed to have experience with all kinds of home renovations, but during the process which started in May I started noticing very poor finishes and shabby workmanship.Floor tiles were laid very uneven, with grout spaces inconsistent. Some spaces were up to half a centimetre and other areas were less than 4 mm spaced. The backsplash was completely destroyed with some parts sunken, very inconsistent grout spacing and tiles sticking out at corners and around fuse plates, with one cm gaps left below cabinets. As a result the entire backsplash needs to be replaced.Painting of cabinets also was completely spoiled. Most of the doors were resanded as the initial paint job had a number of flaws, during re sanding a cabinet door moulding was damaged but rather than finding a solution Dastjerdi argued about not having caused any damage. I tried to address the issues with Dastjerdi but was clearly told not comment about the quality of the work till the end. We tried to address the seriousness of the poor finishes but were further shocked with the reply, telling us that the backsplash would not be replaced or repaired but would be cleaned up & the cost of the job would be reduced, and further even telling us that we were trying to teach Dastjerdi. Dastjerdi claimed that the job was completed and sent another invoice for $10571.By then 70 % of the payment had been made, yet we terminated the contract with Dastjerdi and had to pay an additional $4000 to get a termination contract to avoid any further damages.Dastjerdi threatened me against posting reviews, and maintained that the standard of renovations provided was above and beyond average standard.

      As the owner of Dastjerdi Ltd, I can proudly announce that At Dastjerdi Ltd, as a fully insured and certified contractor with a builder background, we always take pride in our work that We are doing, and we always stand behind our services.We always make sure that our customers are fully satisfied and happy with the job and the progress.We also offer warranty on all the jobs that We do even after the job is done.Our customers are more than welcome to be in touch with our previous customers to make sure how we take care of our customers, their home, their family (Includes their pets) and their project.For this specific customer I was lucky to be the project manager of their project, and be in all the details of how the project went. I cant say it was a pleasure to serve this customer after all the racism comment and hate speeches she as an immigrant herself, made about other immigrants. I as a new immigrant who is founded a new company to serve my community here in ******, never expected such an attitude. I also lost one of my valuable carpenters in this project (he quit) because of all tension we faced in that unhealthy environment.During construction and renovation projects sometimes happen that customers get stressed as in the middle stages of the job ********** is rough and dirty and sometimes it seems that it will never get fixed, and we always try to explain every step to our customer and make them sure that this is a part of the construction project and ********** will be fine at the end, up to their satisfaction point. to make sure they know how ********** is going to make sure they are feeling better about the progress. however, in very few cases we fail to take the stress away from the customers.During the job sometimes customers ask for additional jobs and we usually either do them as free or give them the price for additional jobs asked.****** asked us some additional jobs and we informed her that at the end of the job we will do the measurement and adjust the final bill. Also she changed her mind about the color she has chosen and we painted the whole kitchen again as free again with the new color.Even though we did more than 1K of other additional jobs as free for her, at the end of the job she refused to pay us the last payment and states that the job is not done and there are some problems with the job such as the tiles are not cleaned and there are some grouts and caulking missing.As always, we replied Dont worry please mark ********** or give us a list of problems we will make sure will fix them up to your satisfaction point as a part of our warranty She didnt provide any list and refused to give us any access to the job site and threated us with Bad reviews and harming our reputation.After that we received an email from her husband for a meeting and got an offer of either accept the termination he will send or go to the court. They sent us a termination and states that they will give us 4K instead of almost 10K and we will not be liable about the project anymore, which we accept their offer without any negotiation as we didnt want to go back under that tension again.
