    Bought a flocked Christmas tree from Michaels online store. It came clearly box had been open and bottom of tree stand broken. Should have just left it but we had people over to decorate and would have been disappointing. We pulled it out and started assembling and fluffing the stems. In about 10 minutes we were all covered in white fluff. My entire living room was covered. Couches blankets people. It was aweful. Shortly we all began coughing and sneezing. Our cat was also coughing and sneezing. We became itchy with hives. As quickly as we could we shoved the tree back in the box and put it in the garage. I called customer support. They came and picked it up. I have yet to receive a refund and my requests seem to fall on deaf ears. My credit card said they would do a chargeback but I have to wait two weeks. A lady from corporate office called me. I tried calling her back several times and leaving messages but she never responds. I have reached out to Michaels and no response to my question of why was I not refunded when I was told I would be immediately once picked up. I have sent a claim into public health and kept the powder in a bag for testing but I bet its asbestos or talc. We were all sick for two days after and took me another two days to clean and wash everything. I have pictures to prove. They ruined our tree decorating experience and then left me footing the bill. Will never buy anything from here.
