  I am giving a two star review because the clean itself was very well done. However, upon looking through my apartment I discovered a number of items were missing. These included items in cupboards, re-usable grocery bags that were obviously not garbage and other items that again, were obviously not garbage. It was agreed upon that cupboards and closets would not be cleaned and that items in re-usable grocery bags were to be left alone and set aside, however many of the missing items were in those places. I contacted Ottawa Extreme Clean and was told that due to the "Extreme" nature of my home, it is not uncommon for items to be mistakenly disposed of and that they would be considered harmless in this regard. I am not happy with how this has been handled and cannot, in good conscience, recommend this company to others.

  I used this business for cigarette smoke removal. I was told entire house needed to be cleaned along with the use of osmosis. I was told there would be a team cleaning inside and out of every cupboard, closet, drawer and hard surfaces including walls, floors and ceilings along with all light fixtures and carpets. We were required to be out of our home for 3 days. I handed our home over to ****, on Friday. **** told me many times he lives 5 minutes away and he would be checking in and give me updates throughout the weekend. We paid the required 50% of the job which was ******* and gave him the key I did not receive any updates, I texted him Saturday asking how its going. He called me immediately and told me everything was going great. I didn't hear from **** again until Monday to ask when were we coming home and an item had gotten cracked. **** apologzed and suggested a hundred dollar discount which I accepted. Upon arriving home it clear, the cleaning was not done. The response I got from the young man on site was," I assure you mam, it was all done". I showed him dust, grease on the top of my cupboards and inside the cupboards a spiders nest on my ceiling grease on light fixture. He said, " I'll get a team here to do it now". As we just got home with our reactive dog, I said no. He called ****. I found broken pieces of the " cracked item" on the floor and on the coffee table, just left there, damage to my wall, towels discolored. **** arrived, we walked through and he confirmed the cleaning was not done except carpets. It was agreed I wouldn't pay the second portion $******* which **** referred to this as a substantial discount. How is it a discount when the work wasn't done? I would never recommend using this company. We had people in our house for 3 days not doing the work they were there to do, disrespecting our home. I found a second item that was broken, and not mentioned. 3 days out of our home to return to this MASSIVELY UNPROFESSIONAL DISAPOINTMENT.

  Im very disappointed by this company. I have made three appointments with them and they have stood me up each time. Today, someone was to come to give me an estimate originally at 2 but after he didnt show, I had to call them and was rescheduled again to 2:30 to 3:00. It is now 5 pm and Ive received no response either by phone or text or email.
