    June 14, 2022 I booked a bouncy castle from Runamok Amusements for my kids birthday (turning 6 and 8) this past weekend. We haven't hosted a birthday party in more than 2 years, so the kids were super excited for the bouncy castle and to show their friends. I booked it two months in advance, understanding that if the weather didn't cooperate, we could move to a different day. I even confirmed the day before with a rep ******* that everything was a go as the weather looked like it would cooperate. I was so happy that, on Saturday morning, we had a beautiful blue sky and barely any clouds - the weather network was calling for rain later in the afternoon. The castle was to be delivered between 9 and 10 am - party started at 11. I was prepping for the party in the morning and when it was 9:30 and still no castle, I decided to call. I searched my email to get the right number and noticed an email at 8 am from Runamok letting me know they cancelled my booking because of the weather. I was so frustrated, as I didn't even get a call to advise me, AND it was sunny out - no sign of a rain cloud. I tried calling and writing back, asking to reconsider as the weather seemed to be fine and if something came up, I would be happy to pay full price, even if we got the castle for a few hours. I called many times, no answer. No one wrote back to my email. Until finally, I received a call at 11:30 am from a rep ****** apologizing for the cancellation and that their insurance wouldn't let them set up if bad weather was on the horizon. Seems like this was a bogus excuse, and that they double booked it because it did not rain one drop that day, not even that evening. This was handled so unprofessionally, and it was so disappointing to have it cancelled last minute with no valid reason, and not even a call. I will not be booking with them again. It was such a let down. Renter beware, as they might cancel based on the weather forecast, which is almost never right!
