  Overall experience was great. Changed my front door and patio door. ******** was very accommodating and helpful; he came by with colour swatches and took the time to answer our questions. One of his colleagues helped us out when we came by the showroom and was also very pleasant and professional. The installers were also very professional and neat. They left my house clean and tidy once the work was done. Highly recommend, and I will certainly reach out to them when it's time to replace my windows.

  Be careful what you wish for! At first meeting the Fenex representative explained the higher price of product was in consideration of high quality and professional service. Details of the required doors and window were provided which included the thickness of the related walls. A couple of weeks later the buyer discovered within the paperwork, that one of the door frames and the window frame did not comply with the wall thickness provided, and reported this to a different representative of Fenex. Asked to confirm the status of the build, it was reported to the buyer a couple of weeks later, and just before the delivery, that "it was too late to make a change". Really? Buyer beware!Upon delivery, and subsequent protection wrapping removals, it was discovered that the double outswing exterior door sill had been fabricated sloping to the inside of the building instead of the normal and logical outside slope direction. Check your own exterior doors - which way does the door sill slope, in or out?This was addressed immediately with representative #2 who agreed it was not correct. Representative #1 then got involved. The buyer was incorrect - "this is the way its constructed".Rep #1 was reminded of his original comments - "the product was of high quality and professional", the immediate response was "some clients are professional and some are not!"Sadly rep#1 just happen to hit on a client who was not only a professional but was supported with ********************************************************************** the field and the office. The product itself appears nicely finished, however, upon closer review the door frames were determined to consist of 5/8" material for the single door and 5/4" material for the double doors. Both a little on the thin side. To support this construction the manufacturer has installed a through-bolt in each hinge location of the double doors. Why? Think pull out of the other screws and the release of the hinge.

  Good evening Mr. ********, 

  Prior to your signature, we clearly explained (on several occasions) that your request was not feasible and may cause water damage inside the house due to a reverse sill. With this knowledge you proceeded with the purchase of the door and told us that you would make your own modifications - against our advisement and experience.  Once you received the door, you noticed that the modifications you wanted to make were not possible and contacted Fenex.  Unfortunately,Fenex cannot fix the issue as originally explained.

  I understand that you may not be happy with the results,  Fenex took the time advising that your request was not possible, suggested againts the purchase of the door and advised againts you doing your own modifications.
