Our furnace died. Francis was amazing. They send people right away to assist us. **** was very friendly and knowledgeable. We got the heat back in no time. **** s 2 second ****** was also very good. Just a great experience.thx you so much.

Fantastic service, technicians, staff and company. Very knowledgeable, experienced, conscientious, reliable and authentically client focussed to boot: they all walk the talk wrt integrity - increasingly rare these days. I contacted Francis Home Environmental Services for assistance with my non-functioning fireplace. The technician arrived punctually and demonstrated professionalism; however, I was presented with a quotation of $1,499 for the replacement of the pilot assembly. I found this estimate to be excessive, prompting me to reach out to other companies, including ******************** and The Grill *****. Both companies confirmed that the standard cost for this service should be approximately $700, with one indicating that they had never encountered a price exceeding $1,000 for such a service.Subsequently, I contacted Francis Home Environmental Services once again, and the response I received was: "As I mentioned previously, I do not determine the cost amounts. Good luck." The concern in this situation lies in the fact that I was charged $169.99 for this diagnosis. It appears that the company may be acting in bad faith by charging $169.99 for 40 minutes of work, followed by providing an unreasonable quote that seems designed to either abandon further service or excessively profit from a client. The technician himself indicated that, in most instances, a simple cleanup resolves this issue, a service that should have already been encompassed within the fee charged.I am deeply disappointed with how this situation has unfolded and with the responses I received to my reasonable inquiries. He took the time to explain to us what the problem was with our fireplace and solutions to resolve it. Great guy. Good service. We had francis home install a cold climate heat pump and had some issues with some of the settings on the ecobee. I contacted the original sales person Bas from Francis to ask if he could help with threshold settings. He immediately contacted the service team to give me a call to setup the appointment. *****, the technician came over within a couple of days. He was a real pleasure to talk to as he explained heat pump settings and efficiencies of the unit. He really took the time to answer all my questions (I had quite a few!). Second time I've used them in the last two months, first for a water heater that failed and then to preempt any issues with a 20 year old **. Very pleased both times as the ** was replaced with a better sized unit the same day and I have noticed some improvement in gas usage as a result. The ** was corrected for sizing and placement of the portion in the furnace plenum so I expect to see cooling improvements next spring.
