I went to this place to get an infected ingrown removed, when I sat down they said they didnt do any freezing and I went to get up to leave. I was told by them that it couldnt wait and needed to come out NOW. No freezing, no numbing and using sharp incisors they dug into my toe as I swore and gripped the chair. They pulled out a piece of the nail and I said I felt something still in there they said thats just a tendon. They then cauterized the wound shut, without removing the excess pus. Not only were my teeth chattering from the pain but I thought this was what was supposed to happen. I wrote a good review because they took me before anyone else could. The cauterization was not only painful but also sealed the pus in, leading to more swelling and later the next day for wound to open due to all the pus pressure. I went to the doctors the day after the procedure to get antibiotics, then had to get another round, finally a nurse at my work noticed that I seemed to be not doing well, I had been concerned about my toe and they thought I was GOING SEPTIC. The doctor told me we caught it early and said there were possibly two types of bacteria now in the infection and gave me another antibiotic dose. I went a month later for a different toe and asked about why my toe was still red, the foot care nurse said there was nothing left and I trusted her. She recommended some bonding to help my nail grow straight so I thought I would go to a professional podiatrist to seek a second opinion for the other toe. When I went into the podiatrists office she immediately looked at the previously infected still red toe and without even touching it said the others left something in their. Not only did I go to them twice, but a different nurse didnt even notice I still had a piece of ingrown nail still in my toe and that prolonged the infection, caused it to not heal right and told me that there was nothing in their.
