    I learned by accident yesterday that I have been paying way too much for the parts that I purchased at this automotive repair shop for the last several years, so I wont be going back. Yesterday as I was driving, my car started acting funny and several lights came on, on my dashboard. It was too long a drive to McCurdys, under the circumstances so I pulled into another garage that had been recommended to me by a neighbour. They diagnosed my problem as a ignition coil that needed replacing. They said I had two choices, good or better parts. I went with the better parts. When I received the quote, which included diagnostics and labour, the price was less than what I had paid three years before, for just the part, from McCurdys. I also asked them to give me a quote on a new exhaust system for my car. The resulting quote for after market parts, with a lifetime warranty, was a 1/3 of the quote I got from McCurdys. They also indicated that if I wanted the vehicle manufacturers parts, it would be 2/3 the price that I received from McCurdys.
