Had my wheels and tires mounted and balanced. 3/4 wheels were ok but one was scratched. All the wheels were covered in the tire mounting lube when I picked them up so I didn't notice the scratch at the time, then when I was cleaning off all the excess tire lube I noticed this scratch. Called the store regarding this once I noticed and got yelled at by the receptionist and got told I was being ridiculous and there was no way their tire machine could scratch a wheel. Unprofessional behavior. This incident was brought to the attention of the corporate offices who attempted to resolve the issue but the store owner was un-cooperative.

Hello ***,I submitted the photo of your rim to our rim expert who has worked on numerous Audi rims and *** used him for my personal vehicle. He stated that the rim is an aftermarket product with a possible coating painted on the rim. Perhaps something akin to Plastidip. I am sure that the due diligence for the safety of your rims was well executed while in our care. Our balancer is fitted with a rubber protector to protect all rims from scratching. This team has been at this shop for 10 years and you are the only customer that has ever made a compliant about a scratched rim around the centre cap. Id like to confirm that we do not grease, lubricate or add sealant to the centre of rims whiling mounting or balancing. We use an incredibly thick white sealant that is placed on the edge of the rim. It is nearly impossible for that sealant to spread to another part of the rim as the viscosity doesnt allow for much drip. Therefore you likely would not have had to clean off sealant from the rim in order to find any damage. I also confirmed with the technician that there was no tire sealant present on the rims when you picked them up. We are more than happy to show you a full demonstration of our entire tire mounting and balancing procedure so that you can fully understand that intricacies of the operation. Also, we have the photo you submitted to head office detailing your rim order from a different supplier and the photo you submitted to us as a complaint and they look like different finishes ****************, you are welcomed to bring the rim back to us, in order to assess the "damage" and we can show you how it was mounted. Please give me a call at ************** to schedule a time for us to go over that procedure.Rosetta

All the points brought up by the store reply I have already responded to over email on April 22nd 2023 at 12:13pm EST, and never received a reply back. The new accusation/implication that my image taken by my cell phone doesn't match the image taken by a professionally **************** is ridiculous.
