    * ***** ** * ********* *** ***** * ***** **** **** ** ***** *********** *** ** ******** ** **** *** ************** ***** I hired the above person to install tiles (I bought) in the front foyer, powder room, kitchen and upstairs bathroom. I told Mike that I was told that a sub floor must be installed before the tiles were installed because if you do not, the grout will crack. He told me that that he would put down a mesh wiring and a compound that would hold the tiles in place that there would be no problem. He also purchased new cabinets (2)and lights for one bathroom which I paid him for. Everything was going fine as expected. This is where the red flags were going off. He kept on delaying installing the transitions between the porcelain tiles and the engineered wood floors that I hired a professional to install prior to hiring Mike. The company that installed the wood floors provided me with transitions since I was going to install the tiles at a later date. Mike said he did not know how to use the transitions that I was provided with but he discussed it with his employee John, that he would nail them in from the side. Then as time went on he said he would buy maple transitions stain them and install them. That never came to fruition. After the job was almost completed he said that he would come back to finish the transitions. Over a week went by I contacted him he apologized for communicated to me properly. He said he ** *** ***** ** *** **** *** was not able to do anything. he said he could come by a Sunday in March 2023. Mike said he was not feeling well to complete the job when he felt better. He never came back. I paid him well for the work that he had done. * **** ***** ******* ****** ** ** ***** I want him return the transitions that he took. He left the vents full of grout, my cabinets were all dirty with grout. The grout is cracked in several places. The tiles are uneven. ************ **** ********* ** * ****** ******* *** ** ******* ******
