  I requested a clean up of an extremely overgrown backyard. The team was fast and efficient - the job was done in two days. The communication was very good. I asked them if they can start as soon as possible because I had guests over the next week and they were able to come early to make it happen.

  Ottawa Lawn Salon did an amazing job trimming our boxwood bushes and cedar ******. If I could attach photos I would! They were in and out in less than half a day and left our property, as well as our neighbours, pristine from any debris. They were easy to deal with every step of the way and I will be a customer for life!

  *************** is a ***** man with old school values. He will knock on doors look you in the eye, show you what he can do for you, shake your hand, and is fully transparent. Honest worker who is not afraid to knock on the door sign the contract, cut your grass, and set the standard for success. I am happy he knocked on my door.

  I have nothing else but good things to say about all staff members from Ottawa Lawn Salon. We started out with them last year and of course, we took them for our needs. They send you an email when it's raining to mention they will come the next day. You can count on them, that's for sure! We have 3 locations that they take care and might have a fourth one coming next year.You have to try them to know them.*********************

  We are so happy with our recent patio reconstruction! We originally contacted our different original patio contractors to come for repairs - they promised to get back us and never did. We were referred to Ottawa Lawn Salon by our family member and WOW! OLS showed up when promised and the work was completed in a very thorough manner, on time and on budget. We will certainly will use them again. Take note: good service can be found and I cant recommend them higher . Five stars for sure.

  Highly disappointed in this company. They overpromise and underdeliver. After we lost a large tree in the May 2022 storm, I asked them to repair the lawn where the fallen branches had put holes in the ground and also killed some areas of grass. At the same time, I asked that they add soil to my gardens. The estimator orally provided me with the calculated amount of soil as well as the name of the soil provider. Unfortunately, I neglected to insist that this information was on the estimate that I was sent to approve.Instead of the company I was expecting, a pickup truck dropped the soil off the afternoon before the work was to be done. So I have no idea what the source of this soil was. Second, it was far less than the amount I was told by the estimator.The work was completed the following day, although clearly far less than my expectations. So far, no grass has grown on the seeded areas. I sincerely believe that my lawn and gardens are in worse shape than before they arrived.I have spoken to the company several times to address my concerns. Basically, they feel that they have satisfied the terms of the contract. I should also note that their story changes every time we speak in terms of the source of the soil.

  We service hundreds of clients around Ottawa who love our service and have yet to encounter a client as unreasonable as this one. Unfortunately, this clients expectations far exceeded the scope of work he was quoted for. After our soil vendor delivered the job material, we promptly showed up and completed the job according to the proper specifications. At the end of the job, our crew leader checked in with the client and confirmed his satisfaction before wrapping up the day. Following job completion and final payment, the client demanded a full refund for the entire job. He provided his reasoning as sub-par germination rates, and not enough soil, asking us bring in more than 5 times the amount of soil we quoted him for. We followed up with prompt action from our entire team to ensure accuracy of the estimated amount of soil, the estimate provided, and the billing. Furthermore, a site visit was conducted to verify the job was completed according to the proposal. After all was verified, we communicated right away and informed him that the soil quantity being requested was out of scope and, even if we were to proceed, it would bury the lawn, effectively killing it. The client also failed to follow the seeding after-care instructions provided and pre-maturely mowed the lawn before claiming that there are no seeds on the ground. Despite all this, we offered him a complimentary seeding service as well as a reduction of his invoice in an effort to make things right. After accepting our remedial efforts, the client still chose to leave a negative review on multiple platforms continuing to demand a full refund. Weve made every effort to ensure this client had a good experience with us, however, clearly this is a losing battle. **** worked hard to build and maintain the reputation we have and will continue to deliver top-notch experiences to numerous clients around Ottawa who love our service. **************** ******** | Ottawa Lawn Salon
