    1 / 1 Do not hire this company! We contracted One Stop Building Solutions to do some basement renovation work.Some of the issues were damage to our personal property, incorrect materials, staffing issues, delays, unprofessional behaviour and language by the contractor(s), and unfinished work. Additionally, the contractor of record, represented himself as a partner, an owner, which may or may not be accurate, not attending the site or completing work inspections, not listening to or hearing what we the clients want (are paying for), not taking responsibility for the problems, and he abandoned our contract. We had cabinetry issues that caused several re-orders and us to compromise on our design.... contractor error, but no culpability taken. Approximately 95% of our cabinets without soft close hinges as per contract, and no functioning door latches were ever supplied or installed, nor was a clothes bar for the coat closet. The cabinetry installation was only partially completed and what is finished is not good - really bad cuts, joints, many gaps, clear caulking that left the joints looking unfinished, there were many dirty marks that had to be scrubbed off, and the cabinet doors have been left in sections not joined together to make one door. To this day, the cabinets are still not functional. Our basement renovation contract started almost 1 year ago, March 25th, 2022. It was supposed to take approximately 3 to 4 months, but is still not completed. One Stop Building Solutions has not responded to any correspondence since mid December last year... they have abandoned our contract. We have been left with an unfinished renovation, shoddy workmanship, without materials we have paid for but will have to purchase again, as well as, hire a competent contractor to fix what has been done and complete what has been left undone. This review pales in comparison to our whole experience with this company.... and the contractor of record... they are not professionals.
