    We booked a Deluxe King Suite at Old Mill Hotel for the night of our wedding, expecting a special experience based on the advertised amenities, which included a dining table for 10 and a balcony. To our surprise and disappointment, upon checking in, we discovered that our room lacked these features. When we brought this to the attention of the night manager, we were met with unhelpful and dismissive responses. She argued that it was our fault for not specifically requesting these amenities after booking, despite the website clearly stating they were included. This ************** handling of the situation was particularly frustrating, especially on such an important night for us. Upon checking out, the hotel manager did offer a partial refund, comping us 1/2 off for one night. While this gesture was appreciated, it did not address the core issue. We were willing to pay full price for the amenities we believed we were booking, and the principle of the matter left us deeply unsatisfied. Since our stay in mid-July, the hotel has updated the amenity listing for the Deluxe King Suite, but this does not erase our experience ** ***** ***********. ** **** ********* ****** ** ** ******** *** ******** ***** ****** ** **** **** ********* ** ******* **** **** *** *** ******* ****** Our experience at Old Mill Hotel was marred ** ********** ********* *** poor customer service, and we cannot recommend it based on our stay.

    I had my wedding here at Toronto Old Mill. We had originally asked for servings of food for 80 to 100 guests. Only about less than 50 people showed up. The contract given to us states Old Mill staff to serve food as buffet style. This means that it's set up like a buffet but it's not a buffet. The staff then serves people as they line up for food, so this way food doesn't run out. However, staff didn't serve. Food did run out. As the bride, I had a cup of pasta and then we had to borrow next doors entré which was a piri piri chicken my choice was jerk chicken but they refused to make more food. When filing the complaint, Nader director of operations was ********* **** *** not listening or taking action. They kept saying they will review video. They did not. An elderly lady fell during reception, we were denied ambulance. The room captain Alex, ********** ** ****** that wedding has to happen on the dot or no wedding happens at all. Wrong food was served during cocktail hour, the servers also admitted and apologized. Out of 10 appetizers for cocktail hour, only 2 came out. All of this is on video if there was even surveillance? I contacted CEO Irene, but she kept cancelling calls and emails. ** ****** asked for help because she was working reception desk that day, they said not their problem contact coordinator. Guess what? My coordinator had the day off. No back up plan. Spent over 20 grand on venue and food. * ******** ***** **** *** ****** ******* ******* ******* ** ********* ** * ******** ** ************* ***** ** ****** ****** *** ******* *** **** *** *** **** ***** ***** ** *** *** ******* ***** Bartender cut *** ***** off liquor, **** *** *** * **** ***** *********** *** **** *** ****** So we lost money on alcohol. ****** ******* **** * *** ** *********** *** ***** ***** ********** * ****** ***** ******* **** * ***** ** **** My cake lady waited outside 30 mins for a cart. ******* * ******* ******* *** **** *** **** ******** ** **** ** ******* *** ******
