      I purchased a wheelchair for just under $6000 last March 2023 and as of today Dec 13, 2023 it still does not work correctly. I'm on my third chair after the last two had defective wheels and this chair came with wheels not rated for my weight and which were not correctly fitted such that when used the wheels rubbed against the arm rests to the point the chair could not be self propelled. I live alone and depend on a wheelchair to get around. Desperate for a wheelchair to attend medical appointments and physiotherapy I was forced to use the chair without armrests leading to damage to my $900 cushion and clothing. Because the chair was not appropriate for my weight the wheels buckled and many spokes became loose. When I requested warranty repair on the wheels the salesperson who sold me the chair came to my home and told me the wheels would not be replaced or repaired on warranty as the manufacturer had supplied unapproved wheels without their permission. So I am expected to pay hundreds more dollars to buy new wheels for a wheelchair that was never delivered in proper working condition because Motion and the manufacturer are passing the buck back and forth. All I want is the chair I paid for. This isn't like other consumer products I depend on this wheelchair to live. To say I was treated poorly would be an understatement. The numerous delays, errors and lack of mobility has had an adverse impact on my health such that I am more disabled than I was before agreeing to use Motion as my vendor.

      ***** * November 9th/2023... A relatively new technician working there at Motion (I won't say their name, but is a super nice person) it was the second time, I had met them, I first met them in late September this year. But, I just have too say, November 9th, they came to fix the leg rest, on my Mid wheel chair, which is only a 1.5 year old chair (18-19 months old) the seat area underneath the **** cushion, was quite rusted (not their fault) I got caught out in the rain a few times this year including recently. Anyway, they were having trouble unscrewing the bolts and nuts that hold the seat underlying together. I asked them, *** *** **** *** ******* they said No, then they proceeded to ask me, "Do I have any cooking oil to loosen the bolt". The point, I am getting at here is, that I have been dealing with Motion since 2015 now, and for me, my experience with them, and with dealing with ODSP has been a real **********aggravation. * ** *** **** *** **** ********* ***** * **** ******* **** * ****** * *** ** **** ********* **** ****** ***** * **** **** **** ** **** ********* ** ********** ***** ******** *** * ** ** ****** ******** I first called, Motion, this year in early May 2023 (the 3rd day of that month to be exact) at first the issue was rusted front wheels, they fixed those, but I did not receive a rental chair, until August 29th 2023. And the front wheels were fixed by September 27th 2023 and it was brought back to me (I have all the receipts) (but I told them many times before, since May 2023, "please give the chair (a once over) meaning, check for other issues, we did not see visually, the first time". Well on September 27th 2023 it came back to me, and I am still waiting for them to fix "the leg rest, and rust issue" they never even bothered to deal with, since, I first called Motion about repairs to this chair, on the 3rd day of May 2023. And as I write this, I have no rental chair, and the chair is now, in their shop, as I write this, November 10th 2023.
