      When I bought the extended warranty I made sure I asked if the entire system for the standard transmission would be covered if something happened including the clutch. I was told it would be so I went ahead and bought it. Well, I just found out it wouldn't be as I just had the clutch blew up on me about 3 weeks ago. Finally, after about 3 weeks they got back to the shop I took my car to get fixed. They told the shop that it wouldn't be covered, so I decided that I would give them a call to see why. Well after looking closely at the email I received from the insurance to find the phone number I say that it was from ********* ********** ********* so I don't know why they were the ones dealing with my claim when I bought it through Tricare. So after the phone call, I learned that the clutch is excluded from the warranty I bought. The gentleman on the phone said he couldn't do anything for me even tho I told him that was the main reason I bought the warranty as I was told the clutch would be covered. I am extremely disappointed as I've been without a car for 3 weeks now and now that I have a $3,000 bill that I have to pay for. It will be another couple weeks without it so now I am paying the loan on my car for it to sit around.

      We understand there has been some communication in regard to your coverage that may not have been clear.
      We have reviewed your claim details to ensure the claim has been adjudicated appropriately and have found that the failure parts reported are clutch friction materials which are excluded from coverage under the terms of the contract. Thus, the denial of coverage was proper and we are unable to approve the claim for these parts.

      ** *** ******* * ******* ******* ******. I purchased a vehicle through my local **** dealership years ago and they suggested that I finance it through Tricor instead of ******. After over a year of on time payments, my credit score had not increased at all. Tricor does not report to every credit bureau in Canada and can only be seen by an advanced credit report. Now, fast forward, I have made a few manual payments over the past 6 months as I have missed payments. I’ve been contacted to discuss my missed payments and catch up. That is fine. However, the company has no accurate record of the payments I have made in the past and the notes on the customers file are not up to date. Different reps will tell you different stories and in the end, no body has an accurate understanding of your account balance, fees owed, or payments. They’ve messaged me stating I made an $800.00 payment for fees only and did not use any portion of that payment to pay my missed payment at the time of $377.00. TLDR: Don’t finance through a non BBB accredited company. Ever. I never had a single issue using **** *********.

      This company has some questionable business practises. they do not have an online presence where customers can track their accounts and so they seem to operate a system whereby they know all about their customers' accounts, but said customers cannot access the same information. In addition, I arranged for a payout on 30th June. A month later not only had they not taken the money but said they had lost my void cheque image. I finally got the payout done on 8th August. However there was no receipt forthcoming. I asked several times via email for a receipt plus confirmation that the image of my void cheque was destroyed but no joy. I just called them and FINALLY got a note saying that 'Tricor has no further interest int the vehicle'. Not the receipt I was looking for but I guess it's OK. The woman I spoke with told me that she was removing the cheque image from my account, but I have absolutely no way to confirm this. **** ******* ** * ******* *** **** ****
