  Tried to pay for parking at a Halifax lot, the machine had a sign saying out of order, I tried to pay online and their website gave me error messages, when I returned to my car they put a boot on it and charged me $114 to remove it. I appealed the ticket and they are blaming me even though I took screen shots of all of their systems not working and saying it was my user error. I attempted 4 different payment methods and their site declined them all. This is beyond bad business practices. Their support agents are saying my bank declined payment for lack of funds and it's my fault. But of this was the case how could I use the same payment method to pay the ticket to remove the boot that night. Something needs to be done about this corruption!!

  Dishonest business practices, clearly their gouging booting service is a significant money maker for them. They are happy collecting the 100$ fee from first time unsuspecting customers who didn't study their unclear instructions in detail. At most underground parkades, payment is made on exit, but not where oneshot parking operates, and they take full advantage of this. THEY NEED TO MAKE IT CLEAR: PAY FOR YOUR PARKING FIRST

  Terrible customer service! Can't do anything when some delivery people or random car parked at my spot, but can boot actual visitors. Total scam paying them when they can't provide service. There's no path for escalation and they just plan to hang up asap. Worst company that knows nothing about parking enforcement but always on top of taking money monthly.

  Just wanted to let you know that our family on Father's Day went to visit one of our dear friends who had major surgery and lives in the residence there. We realized we forgot to pay for a parking slip as there's no signage on how to do so and normally our dear friend comes down and instructs us how to do so, but she couldn't due to her surgery. We went upstairs to see her and then came down after it was explained so we could buy a parking slip for our car and we had some lock on our tires with a note saying call and pay 100 dollars to One -Shot Parking. This seems very unprofessional as the man that came down was very unprofessional. He had a credit card machine and said pay. The experience at the establishment was horrible and very unprofessional. It seemed like a very shady company. They need to be shut down.

  One Shot is a ********* company that is just looking for any flimsy excuse to steal your money. If you got to park and see One Shot signs, just keep driving.

  I was booted this week and given a $115 fine because my parking pass was on my seat and not in the window. I was in a hurry to get into my office to a meeting and left it on the seat. I park in the same spot everyday so they would have seen my car there a lot and always have my pass displayed I am a tenant in the building and I am legally allowed to park there. I needed to get out of the parking lot in a hurry on Tuesday to attend a meeting but ended up arguing with this company to remove the boot This type of company needs to be not allowed to operate in Canada. It’s border line criminal there were a lot of people booted that work in the building who pay to park as tenants. Once you show proof the boot should be removed and ticket destroyed. They have no right to ticket tenants in the building who pay for parking. We also have a Starbucks and Dentist office these people are also at risk to be booted according to the small non legible sign they posted. You cannot read the warning sign as you come in the parking lot it’s too small and doesn’t meet the requirements for warning signs. You need to walk over put your glasses on to see the small print.

  I parked in their lot and paid for 2 hours parking, followed all instructions posted but no receipt was printed. I came back 12 minutes before my time expired and found 2 boots on my vehicle with a $115 fine. I explained my situation over the phone and to the employee that came to remove the boots. He told me my plate wasn't in their system, even though I got the confirmation from the machine on the lot. He then told me I would have to pay the fine but could appeal it online for a refund if I provided the time I arrived, my plate, and payment method (cash). I followed his instructions and provided all this information in my appeal. The appeal was submitted over 2 weeks ago now and they never contacted me in any way or refunded the charge. This company is a ****.
