    We purchased Urban Blue Kaycan siding for our new build in the spring of 2023 from our local Home Hardware store. As soon as we noticed fading we contacted Home Hardware who referred us to Kaycan. A representative from Kaycan came to our house. He noticed some fading that we hadn't yet noticed. We mentioned touching the siding also left finger prints that would not come off. He took pictures and agreed there was an issue with the siding. He told us to make a claim. We completed the claim documentation along with pictures and were told we needed to send samples. We had our builder take siding samples off our house - 3 samples from three different sides of the house. We just received a letter from Kaycan saying from the pictures it appears to be environmental staining such as BBQ grease, industry pollution, acid rain or such. We don’t own a BBQ, we don’t live anywhere near industrial pollution, and the only rain falling on our house is the same rain falling on Kaycan siding all over our county and province. The letter from Kaycan did not indicate what tests were performed or results. Our siding is a mess. We hope someone reaches out to look into this further. We would welcome someone to come to our house to again look at the siding. We would like to know what testing was done on our siding samples and read a written report of the findings. If anyone would like to see pictures, I posted a few on ****** reviews.
