    Hired this company last January because my heat pump stopped working and we needed heat immediately. Even though my heat pump was still under warranty I was billed for labor and three service calls. Took nearly a month to get the work done. This present month the same heat pump required cleaning. I called a competitor who came out cleaned the pump and discovered faults not corrected by ET Mechanical. As my heat pump was still under warranty the competitor fixed the heat pump by replacing parts at no charge for parts or labor as it was still under warranty. I definitely feel I was ripped off by ET Mechanical but I guarantee it won't happen again. I couldn't recommend this company to anyone and they rate a ZERO from me.

    Good Morning Don, 

    After confirming with the manufacturer it seems we we're incorrect in processing this warranty and your system does indeed have a labour warranty valid until 2027. As we discussed this morning I have instructed our accounting department to process a refund of the labour charges back to you. Again I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and I appreciate you contacting me to bring this to our attention.

    Would have been 5star dispite issues if they actually honoured their satisfaction garantee which I was told to sue them for all the guarantees they make on their website are a lie. Not prompt service the refund all your money you have to go to court to get the fix at no cost they did once now are passing the buck for the same issue as a month ago

    We responded a plumbing service call on March 01, 2022. Installed heat tape and insulated the water line as per customer requested and agreed. on January 28 (SAT), 2023, the customer called for "frozen pipes, he believes the issue is with Heat Tape installed by ET Mechanical and the customer indicated that he isn't going to pay for plumbing service call. We sent our plumber Jeff to visit the customer on January 30 (MON), 2023. We checked the heat tape, and determined that the heat tape connector was bad, we reinstalled and tested, and made sure was working thawed line and all good. We did not charge the customer for that service call and we honored our satisfaction guarantee - we solved the issue without charging the customer. Besides, our plumber also indicated and advised to the customer that the customer's frozen pipe were caused by the under ground pipe lines that were managed by the trailer park, not related to the heat tape inside the mini-home. Later, the customer contacted us several times and requested the full refund for the heat tape installation which are working properly. The customer has threatened to our customer service representatives and the management that he will hire a lawyer to sue ET Mechanical for full refund. We are unable to accept his request. I am enclosed the latest email received from the customer on March 6: "I finally have running water after a week but the heater has failed due to the constant freeze thaw and to get it replaced I’d need pipes moved and I’m not paying et anymore money until the refund as per the satisfaction guarantee. you see if I had the refund I could pay et to move those pipes but Joe you told me to just sue you for it so what’s it going to be refund and I can hire et to do more work while while I put the rest to prevention since ets quality work to prevent future issues didn’t prevent anything".
