  I purchased plank flooring for my apartment and I also needed installation. The owner, Barb showed me the different options for floors and suggested that her son could install the flooring for cheaper than the regular installation companies. Five years later the flooring has lifted and had some movement which makes it dangerous for anyone who walks on it. I’ve reached out to the store, talked to Barb and *** ***** **** ****, she said that she was going to file the warranty claim to the flooring company, this was two months ago and I still have not received a claim number. I have visited and called the store many times as Barb never calls me back to provide with an update. When I asked how the claim is coming along the only answer that I get from her is that the claim is "in process". * ***** ***** ********* **** ***** ** ******, extremely poor customer service, *** ******** ******* *** *** ***** ********* *****

  Carina ****** bought flooring from Avalanche Flooring a few years ago. At the time, the installers were book for about a month in advance. Carine wanted it done right away as it was a rental. I suggested that my son to do it for her on a weekend on his own accord. Upon Harry arriving at the apartment, the floors and carpet to be removed were incredibly filthy and soaked in cat urine. She did not want to pay for any preparation of the floors. they needed a lot of work. Through Avalanche Flooring, we would have refused to do the job without cleaning and floor prep. Harry ran into a lot of issues. The smell of urine was so strong, he had to work with the windows open and it was cold outside. Harry put the floors in without floor prep as she requested. Carina recently sent me pictures of the flooring which I forwarded to the manufacturer and requested to put in a claim. I informed Carina that a claim typically takes 6-8 weeks to complete. She called and stopped by the store 5 times in the first 2 weeks expecting her flooring to be priority over everyone else. Telling me that I was not doing my job. She expected her flooring to be changed immediately. Unfortunately that's not how claims work. Her claim has now been denied. It has been determined to be abuse to the flooring from previous tenants over the last few years.
