My experience with Kim ********* was negative and very disappointing. If I questioned her, she is selective in what she will respond to. Her mark up on goods bought is abhorrent. A chair sold for $*** and she charged me $*****! She charged me 4x $*** just to meet with her…once for 15 minutes where her colour swatch was Forest green rather than Emerald green that I had asked for. I should not have been charged for her mistake. Another $*** for looking at Sherpa rather than Boucle which I had asked for. Her mistake. Kim’s final printout for billing states that I am to receive $***. However, my paperwork shows she owes me $********* She will Not meet with me to discuss the final outcome unless I pay another $**** *** ******** ******* ** * ****** * ** *** ** **** **** ******** * **** *****

I am sorry that you are unsatisfied and as I said to you back in March 2022, I feel that I just can’t make you happy and we aren’t a good fit. I asked you to address your concerns on wrapping up your project via email prior to our meeting, so I could come prepared but you did not respond. I then let you know that I was going on vacation and we agreed to meet upon my return. Instead you submit this review. To address your concerns here: 1. After searching for probably every emerald green velvet in North America and getting cutting samples, you approved the sofa order but then days later cancelled the order. A few months later, after complaining that you don’t have a sofa, you once approve the order and again days later cancel the order. All this extra time for us to source these many fabric swatches, present and represent, process & cancel orders was not billed to you. You also stated that I mistakenly presented a Sherpa fabric when you requested a Boucle but when we requested Boucle samples from our vendors, many included the Sherpa type as well. 2. All orders with the total cost for items were presented and approved by you prior to ordering. If you found the chair from another source, the funds may in US dollars and the landed cost would incur additional fees. The additional costs are: shipping to Winnipeg, importing fees - brokerage & duty, gst/pst, exchange fees from US to CAD dollar and local home delivery. 3. My meeting charge is $*** per meeting which includes time to prepare and follow up, along with the actual time in meeting, which has no time constraints. I charged this same amount for meetings in 2016 when you & your ex-husband hired me for your home renovation, so I am unsure why you seem appalled by this same fee 6 years later. 4. My accounting program clearly outlines invoices, payments made and final balances and we can print reports in many different formats for better understanding of the project costs, which were sent to you for review. Regardless of the format, the final balance comes to the same number. As I never heard back from you, a cheque was sent to you for the balance of the unused funds. Respectfully submitted. Kim S
