  Excellent experience with Kirkfield and all staff with replacement of our aged furnace, air conditioner and water heater. It was an expensive proposition for replacement of all 3 at once but we felt the quoted price was competitive and the company reputable so we went ahead.   I recently had my air conditioner serviced by Michael. He was pleasant, personable, knowledgeable, respectful of my garden and house, understanding and he answered all of my questions. I had quite a few. Michael had some recommendations that I will follow up with. He took the time to explain the settings on the thermostat and was able to make some necessary changes so I could access the thermostat remotely. We have had Kirkfield service both our furnace and air conditioner for many years and will continue to call on them for servicing in the future. Lynn K

  I was initially worried about someone coming to poke holes in my newly built home that was still under the builder's warranty to install air conditioning LOL... But speaking with Craig during the consultation really helped to allay any worries I may have had. He was quite professional and relatable. The installation went smoothly and despite the fact that I kept going to check what was being done *** *** ******* I really didn't have anything to complain about. **** ********* ********* ********

  Our house had many hot and cold spots and drafts, which turned out to be all relating to an oversized incorrectly installed furnace 11 years ago by another local company. My Kirkfield technician, Craig, tactfully explained to me the inadequacies and dangers of my original installation. He then suggested some venting modifications and showed me the various Lennox models available. We elected to have a complete heating and air-conditioning system with a Wi-Fi thermostat to be installed immediately. I CANNOT believe the difference in the climate of the house. Temperatures are consistent and we can’t even hear the furnace! The install looks great, and we are looking forward to smaller energy bills. I have learned so much in the last while and I cannot stress how important it is to have the PROPER heating system for your environment and the PROPER person installing it. One size does not fit all! Make sure that your furnace “guy” knows what he’s doing. Your personal health and safety could be at risk. * ********* *** ********* ******* *****

  Technician found the circuit board to be at fault for my 30 yr old Carrier furnace, which is still in good shape. Said a new circuit board would be $600 according to his book. He drove away and picked up the last new one in the city. He came back with it and installed it. It was a bit different than the original and required some wiring adjustments. Anyways, I looked up the circuit board online and found it in stock on a website for $194 with shipping in a few days. **** * ********* ***** *** ********** **** ** **** ** ** **** *** ***** ** **** **** **** *** ******* ***** ****** ******** ******** ***** ** ********* *** **** ***** ****** *********** *** **** **** ** ****** I don’t begrudge anyone their labour, but a $400 difference in a part is just provoking. My total bill for a circuit board replacement came to a sobering $896 for this disabled retiree. The furnace heats now…but I certainly had to pay dearly for that.

  Dear Valued Customer, Our company is not without compassion to your situation ** * ******* ****** ******** ****** ******* The part cost alone does not reflect the true cost of doing business in the field of HVAC. We also payed more for the part then what was found online. Perhaps it was US funds and/or before shipping costs. The cost of wages, gas, wear and tear on the vehicles, special licensing to perform the work, the companies organizational overhead and how it operates efficiently for its clients all plays a role in the deriving proper cost as well a warranty for workmanship. The price you were charged is well within the industry standard and we provided a service to you in a timely manner to which solved your no heat situation. You were also offered a discount for parts and service cost if you signed up for regular servicing to which you declined. ***** ** *** ***** *** **** ********* *** ******** ********* *** **** *** *** *** **** ** *** *******  Respectfully Management

  Top marks for Kirkfield Heating and AC. I thought that I may need a new furnace as the furnace I have in my house appeared to require an expensive repair and given its age (13 years) was probably not worth a major repair bill. I asked Kirkfield to provide me a quote on installing a Lennox high efficiency furnace, but instead the representative easily identified what the problem actually was with the existing furnace (as it turned out it required a very minor inexpensive repair) and he didn't even charge me for a service call. I am very appreciative of his honesty and integrity and will certainly contact Kirkfield should I require furnace/AC repair or replacement in the future.
