    I contacted Hallmark HVAC & Enviro-Restoration for my parent's chimney repairs. Dan sent me a quote before coming to the job site. I told him he has not even seen it yet. He then sent a colleague (very polite person) to see the job and reported to Dan. I received quote that matches the job being asked for. This whole estimate was from Dec 2021 to Feb 2022. We were asked to put down 50% DP, as he said he needed to order materials from the state and that so he could place the order with another customer's as well. Deposit was paid, and the job was never done even after multiple attempts of reaching to schedule repairs. Fast forward to Feb 2023, I asked for a refund as I thought it would be fair after all nothing has been done. Dan agreed to refund payment in instalment as he claimed his business has gone bankrupt. I felt bad for him so I wanted to be flexible and agreed to an instalment refund. After a lot of follow ups with no response, be was able to provide me with 2 installments of $300. Until I can't reach his phone anymore. $975 outstanding for refund. My parents are seniors and one of them has long term disability. This money is very important especially during these tough times. I hope someone can help us recoup this money.
