    I bought my Thinkware dashcam at this merchant in ********. I had this installed in my '15 Accord Hybrid. Their installation is faulty, dangerous and could turn out to be lethal. The wires leading from the front dashcam to the power of the fuse box as well to the rear camera were not tied down and just left hanging in the left pillar of the vehicle. This would have obstructed the airbag deployment. I immediately contacted the merchant and gave me a lame escuse of not being responsible and only warranted for one year. I checked various dashcam companies around and they were utterly dismayed that this was such a poor installation.

    Ordered an $900 "Signature Package" from this joke outfit. They shipped it and didn't bother to include everything on the customs package. The package has sat for 6 days now, Blackboxmycar WILL NOT CALL ***** to fix this. I've called... Every. Single. Day. And the answer is always the same, "***** ******* *** ***** ** ******* **". ******, I called *****, got the direct number to the customs officer and could get it released in 5 minutes. I called you to give you that information. You still won't call. Michael and the support staff are utterly worthless.

As part of the BlackboxMyCar team, I'd like to offer some insights to clarify the situation.Upon learning of the issue, our team contacted ***** directly, provided them with all the requested information to expedite the shipment clearance, and even had an in-person meeting with our company's ***** representative to try and resolve this matter. Our shipping team did nothing different from any other orders with the same products, so we were very confused as to why your package was hit with these delays.During this time, we called ***** directly after not having heard back from them for 24-hour as they usually reply the same day. Over the phone, they told us what they needed, which we then immediately provided. We understand that you also contacted ***** directly, but from our contacts they not only asked for different information, but your contact did not push forward the process in any way. We still had to follow up daily to see if this package was being cleared.After we followed up with you and you informed us that you would not like to move forward with the order, we immediately honored your request to have the package returned for a refund. We are very sympathetic of your situation and never intended to delay our customers receiving their packages. However, we stand by our staff that we did everything in our power to try and get this dealt with in a timely manner. Furthermore we always immediately honored any request you made to us to ensure your satisfaction. Im very sorry that our efforts did not meet your expectations. It is frustrating that ***** was difficult during this time, but I hope you can see that we did try very hard to get this resolved for you.Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
