  I would definitely not recommend Ecoline Windows. Given 2 stars only because the actual windows are nice. Pros - Sales guys was nice - The actual windows look great and function well. Cons BIG issues: - I had to tell them to use duct tape to bridge the gap between the nailing flange and the vapor barrier on the outside of my house. If I did not do this water could get through on the 4 cut edges around all 15 windows. The worse thing about this is that they made me feel bad for even suggesting it and took phones call to get it done right.- They mismeasured a window and it took 5+ MONTHS to be replaced. Not only this, but as they severely damaged that window when taking it out, when putting it back in, it took me to say to at least cover the double pained glass with duct tape as I did not want my **** son to have glass drop off into his bedroom floor. Smaller Issues:- We were having 4 inch boards placed around all our windows. I had to tell one of their workers to stop when I noticed that he was cutting out a window that was not even being replaced. This was not repaired for about 5+ months. He would have cut out two others as well!- We had a little decorative piece about our windows at the front of our house. They wanted to use MDF which is absolutely the worse thing to use on the outside of a house. - when putting in the above window a 2nd time 5 months later it took me to tell them to align the window better as from the outside, the gap between the nailing flange and the outside of my house wall, there was a very clear 1+ cm gap (this was after they had partially nailed in the window). - they did not put the ladder attached onto their ladder so it scratched up my new gutter. I'm not annoyed about the scratches as I had paint to repair, its just that it took me to point out the damage and to insist that they get the ladder attachment out of their truck. - these reviews are limited so I cannot put other things that I was not happy with!

  The sales manager promised to deliver a customized window according to my required measurements for the side panes and main panes to align with my blinds but delivered a window that measures otherwise, by a good 8 inches on each side. The sales manager was difficult to reach, and gave excuses. He said my requested measurements does not comply with the Building codes. Why didn't he tell me on that very day before I placed the order? He had every opportunity to contact me from May 11th till September 7th, 2023 to correct the error.So I had to approach Better Business Bureau to help out with this matter.Beware when you deal with this company. Difficult to reach, no courtesy call on the day of installation. Sales manager does not even apologize for the error but gave excuses, no effort to carry out service recovery.

  Windows are custom made to fit the existing rough opening and a given end vent window can have two different types of splits 1/4-1/2-1/4 or 1/3-1/3-1/3. Our project manager chose the closest matching to the window above. We regret that blinds did not fit but blinds are manufactured to fit the window and not the other way around.

  Your response is weak, very weak. The differences in the side window panes are 8 inches. If it is a mere 1 inch or thereabout, we will accept it. The main window pane would be a difference of 16 inches.The first thing we told your sales manager is that the window panes must match the existing blinds. We made it very clear to your sales manager what we wanted (repeated several times to him). He gave us the assurance that the windows would be made customized for us. We would not place the order if it cannot be made to our specification. The sales manager acted fraudulently (lied to us) by giving us the assurance that it will be customized to our specification but in reality cannot be made that way. He had full knowledge. By giving us the assurance, his greed, he misled us to place the order.What you are arguing does not carry weight because HAD your sales MANAGER (your company AMBASSADOR) was an honest trustworthy person, with full knowledge of what we wanted, of your company product dimension production limitation, he would have advised us that it cannot be made. We would not have placed the order and hence this matter would not have arisen. Claiming that you cannot guarantee the fitting of window coverings and that sizes may change based on final measurements after what happened is weak.Customer beware - Be very careful when dealing with this company and their ************** sales manager/project manager. I had to take legal action.

  We had great customer service, and they answered all and any questions I had during the process. We had a total of 6 windows replaced and even got an earlier date for installation than expected. Installation took one day and it went smoothly.

  Ecoline ** * ********* ******* **** doesnt stand behind their products. When I purchased my windows from ecoline, I told the sales team that windows with good soundproofing properties were a priority for me as I live on a busy street. They assured me that these new windows I would be purchasing were excellent at blocking sound. But unfortunately, after installation these new Ecoline triple pane windows were just as bad as my old single pane windows from ****. I reached out to Ecoline windows to try to discuss this issue, but they didnt return my call. Obviously at this point I was concerned that there was a problem with my windows that they werent going to resolve, so I cancelled my second payment (be wary of a company that demands upfront payment before they complete their work). Ecoline then returned my call and threatened legal action if I didnt reinstate my payment (again, making no effort to make sure their job was done correctly).The representative I spoke to then said that they dont sell any windows with soundproofing properties which is in disagreement with the information they emailed me before I made this purchase. To give you an idea of how noisy these new windows are, I can hear traffic two streets away with the windows closed. If you are looking at your quote from Ecoline, take note that they do not disclose any information about sound transmission in their quotes, ******** ******* ***** ****** *** **** **** ******** ** ***** ************* ***** **** ** **** ** *** ** ***** ********* ****** ******** The reason almost every review mentions installers by name is because the installers push for you to give them five-star reviews and mention their names in the review.
