    M.C. Wright Ecological Services was recently working near the Brown's Bay road North of Campbell River. One Km. in on the left side is an old rail grade/road that is access to the Campbell River lookout trail and Route 66 - ATV trail. The work that M.C. Wright Ecological Services was doing in that area did not involve the old rail grade road, it involved a small cut block adjacent to the rail grade road. Why then did they cut a large ditch across a popular trail? Have they never seen how a water bar works? It drains water yet it allows people to walk or ride through it. Please consider the people who like to walk, hike and ride on these old rail grades!
