Tim was extremely unprofessional. He canceled last minute with no explanation and left us stranded. On Monday morning he agreed to do the job so we canceled the other contractor we had coming Monday evening to do a quote. I had already discussed the scope of work and Tim agreed to come Wednesday to look and pre job, but he had already agreed to do the work Friday. On Wednesday when Tim showed up at my house he pulled into the driveway and then pulled right out and left and messaged me that he was not doing the job now. He refused to return my call or explain why he canceled. The next day he messaged me that he recognized my house and had done work for me before and that he had a bad experience and didn’t want to take my job as a result. I explained to him that he had my house confused with someone else on the block, as there are multiple identical homes on my street. I told him that if he would have just called me instead of bailing last minute and refusing to answer my text we could have cleared the air. He was extremely unprofessional, and I do not recommend him as he is unreliable and won’t follow through.

On Feb 5, 2023, I was contacted by the homeowners ** *** ******* ****** in Nanaimo, who are currently selling their home. On extremely short notice, I agreed to come by and provide an estimate. Once approved, they were hoping to have repairs to their home completed before the following week.

When I arrived, I recognized the home. I remember that I had an unpleasant experience with the homeowner.
I decided to cancel the estimate and then I immediately let both of homeowners know as well as the realtor who recommended me to these people.

1.The homeowner contacted me, and we scheduled a home visit on Feb 7th, to provide an estimate on some repairs.

2.No estimate was given as I had not entered the home during this recent contact by the homeowner.

    3. No contract was written or signed, and no discussion of payment was made.

4.Then total timeline involved was 3 days, beginning on Feb 5, 2023, and concluded with my visiting the home on Feb 7th, 2023. It was on this day that I immediately cancelling once I arrived.

I can understand the homeowner's frustration with the sudden cancelation of the estimate; however, I remained professional during the whole interaction. I find these accusations of unprofessionalism offensive and misplaced. This homeowner was very rude, abusive and threatening after I cancelled the estimate visit. Screenshots are available of text messages if requested.
