This Notary Public Grant S**** is extremely obnoxious, rude, and unprofessional. It takes him very long to answer the questions, by email having to follow up multiple times. It took him 6 months to finish a simple Will, as he answered questions with one word only. No detailed explanations on any questions asked. He changed the appointments often without notifying you. He does not open the door of his office if you are there 5 minutes before, even when he sees you at the door. He starts increasing prices as you go along. A simple Will could have been made on the Internet. He started with $250.00 at the beginning deposit and increased to a total of $460.00 at the time of signing up the Will. My Will was to leave everything to one relative. He took the balanced of payment first, then the signing of the Will was done, but refused to stamp the Will with a Notary stamp. He said it is not required. And he walked away from the desk, while I was still sitting at the table. I had to go to the front desk and wait a few minutes looking for him. When I found him, I asked what is the procedure once you pass away, and he remarked in a shouting tone, " YOU ARE DEAD, so why do you care?". and he walked away again to the back of the office. That was very hurtful. I felt very sad when I left his office. I wanted to know what procedure to follow once one passes away. So I can leave those instructions to my relative. He did not want to answer any questions. He did not care once the payments were done. No one should feel that way after putting you through 6 months of hassle and being uncooperative during that time. * ****** **** **** *** ******* ****** ********** **** **** *** ******** I don't wish anyone to have to go through this horrific experience with him in the future and be treated this way. The public should feel happy when they do the necessary paperwork for important events. I hope that you will give kind attention to this matter. Thank you in advance.

*******, as per confirmation from the ******* ** ******** ****** ** **, your letter of complaint does not have any merit. Our office worked diligently over a period of 21 months to finalize your will. The letter from the ****** ******* states, “It appears that the consideration of your questions over this period by the Notary’s office indicates that you changed your mind a few times. It also appears as though you retained a lawyer who provided you with feedback and further input. This contributed to why the final document took time to be drafted and finalized. The file appears to indicate that throughout the process, the Notary’s office cooperated fully with you in order to finalize your Will to your satisfaction which was executed. With regards to your request to have the Will ‘stamped’, the Notary correctly explained to you why this formality is not required to validate a Will under the ****** ******* *** ********** Act.”

I understand the comments made by Notary office. They will cover themselves. ***** *** **** ******* ** **** ****** **** ***** **** ** ******** How about not providing me with further instructions as to what to do once the Will is made. Eg like probate etc which I found out in my own. His remarks in shouting manners were “You will be ****. Why should you care. “ Is this how he should talk to his clients?
