We purchased 3 outside blinds. We understood they came with a 10 year warranty. After 1 year one of the blinds fabric pulled out of its spline. It took many days however it was eventually repaired under warranty. Fast fwd 8 years and one of the side uprights pulled out of the wall. The whole blind came crashing down. ** picked up the blind however refused to fix it under warranty. ( involves putting the blind back in its track) Instead they provided 3 quotes the least being ******. I refused and asked to pick up my blind. It was wrapped in plastic for pick-up at the *************** Once unwrapped, I discovered parts are missing. The hardware and the side track the screen fits in. As well, the handle mount. I contacted ****. He said he'd check where my parts are. Haven't heard back. Sent an email. Haven't heard back. The blind is inoperable without the missing parts. If they continue to ignore my request, I will be taking them to small claims court asking for restitution to cover the cost of a new blind.

Artistic Awning has been in contact with ************** by phone and emails, we have records if it is needed to be verified. Regarding the service call after 1 year of the installation, the screen going out of the track is an operational error by the customer. It is explained at the time of installation to not lower or use the screens when it is windy. We went out and serviced his screen for free, even though it was not covered under warranty. Artistic Awning warranty states that any damage due to wind is not covered. There is a 5 year warranty on labor and a 10 year on parts. See a bit of the warranty below: All hardware related to our retractable screen lines are guaranteed against defect in materials and workmanship for a period of 10 (ten) years from date of installation. There will be no labor charges to any warranty work required in the 5 (five) years from date of installation. Any warranty work required after 5 (five) years will be subject to labor charges as well as travel times. Artistic Awning will not warranty any of our products due to wind, heavy rain/excessive rain or snow damage. If you would like to see full warranty please tell me where we can email it.Complaint number 2: The customer had called in telling the office they had left the screen down in the extreme winds and that it had come dislodged from the house. We had sent out the installation crew to their site and removed all parts and pieces required to assess the situation. We did not charge a service fee for that visit. Once screen was assessed by production, it was clear that the unit had been damaged by wind. The product required many new pieces that needed to be replaced in order for it to be reinstalled. The customer was quoted 3 options all of which gave replacement part costs and installation was included. ************** was very rude and had raised his voice to our receptionist,. There is slander all over social media of posts done by him regarding our business. We do not condone this behavior but was willing to work with him to make him happy. We offered to cover all the replacement parts and only charge for labor to reinstall. He still refused and demanded his screen back. Production had put together the parts that were available and sent it back to the customer. There were parts missing as they are currently being remade in production. The original parts were not reusable. Customer is to be contacted once they are ready and we will assist in explaining how to reinstall his screen if he doesn't want to pay for the labor for us to do so. There will be no warranty on any products not installed by Artistic Awning .The screen in question was installed in 2016. *************** has informed us they always leave the screen down in wind, If this was an installation error, the screen wouldn't of lasted all these years.
