    On June 30, 2024 we rented a room from Beach Grove Motel in ********. We were set up with unit #9. The unit was in very poor shape - aside from normal wear and tear which showed there was very little emphasis on upkeep of their rooms we found that there was a noticeable gap in the base of the front door, the fire extinguisher had not been serviced in over 5 years (last available date was in 2018), the fire alarm was unplugged. The utility room which housed the water heater had old mouse droppings throughout it. The management has tried to state that this was locked but it was not. The washroom had broken fixtures included a toilet seat that was only bolted in one spot, humans ***** matter on the walls, and evidence that their attempt at cleaning was rushed as it appeared to be half done. We ended up checking out after only two hours in which we werent there the whole time. I have contacted the management with three emails with response to resolve the issue. Once I placed a review on ****** they wrote back to discredit my accurate review. I only wished to speak with them to negotiate a fair resolution - I am willing to pay for my time spent there not the whole fee for a full 1-night stay. I feel that the business practices at this motel are poor and have horrible customer service.
