  Burnaby Blacktop gave a reasonable quote in a very timely fashion. Their work schedule and crews were tight and efficient. They were considerate of the neighbourhood when working on site. The job looks very nice. We are pleased with the result and would recommend them for residential work.

  We hired Burnaby Blacktop to install an updated asphalt driveway in our *************** home. Their team was responsive, and the asphalt driveway looks good, except for one important thing: the heavy equipment that the company brought to lay the asphalt left behind an incredibly stained, trashy-looking mess on the roadway in front of our home, which has rather spoiled the look of our nice little cul-de-sac and left the neighbours furious with us. Burnaby Blacktop subsequently acknowledged that their team seems to have released a big puddle of used diesel fuel on the road, and then tracked big black tractor-trailer marks in spirals around the street. When we expressed our distress to the company, and asked how to get the street cleaned up, their polite reply was "sorry about that - the stains should fade over time." We're putting our home on the market soon, and suddenly the street in front of our house has become a public eyesore.

  We had 2 relatively small projects that Bby Blacktop did for us and both times did great work. We are very pleased with the work, clear and efficient communication and work ethic and standards of Bby Blacktop. Both times ***** the estimator gave us a fair quote did an amazing job to fit our first project in the next day! and ****** and crew were thorough and our driveway was repaired well. The sealing job a month later, ******* and ********* crew did super job making sure the problem driveway was prepped well and ultra coated. Bby Blacktops high rating is well deserved. Highly recommend

  I chose Burnaby Blacktop Ltd. over two other companies because the salesman promised me they were the best and their price was competitive at $60,000 for paving at my new home. It was the worse decision I made on my entire build.They did a rush job on the grading and the night before they were to pave, I contacted the salesman, who was also part of the grading crew, and pointed out some issues and suggested they needed to delay the paving for a day in order to correct it. The salesman said "Don't worry about it, we know what we're doing, sleep well tonight."Well guess what? I may not know a great deal about paving but I do know that water does not flow up hill. After the job was complete and upon the first rain, not only did I have major puddles, I had water flowing under two garage doors on my house, and a small lake in front of the door to my shop.They refused to do what was needed to fix the problem because they said it was too expensive. Instead they tried to put in concrete drains which are an eye sore and don't work. Finally they just walked away from a small holdback and I am left with this mess.

  Repaving project of our entire townhouse complex. Excellent service from the entire team. Danny in sales was outstanding as was Graham and Lavelle (hope I've spelled his right) in operations. The work was scoped and executed to our requirements perfectly, which was not an easy task as we had to keep roads accessible for residents with mobility issues! They completed on time and on budget. I can't say enough about how well this job went!
