      We had extraordinary support for storage at Tippett-Richardson for 12 years. When we were ready to move the furniture, the moving coordinator, Shakshi, was efficient and effective in arranging and managing the removal of our storage. Great job.

      Do not hire this firm if you expect to get your possessions in a timely manner. It's interesting that on their website they claim they are "reliable and punctual" because in my experience they are not either of those things. I paid over $20K USD for this move. My goods left ******** michigan on the 1st of the month but were not delivered until the 27th in spite of arriving in Calgary on the 7th or 8th. It was painful to work with this company... very little communication and then when they finally got here, the driver did not have the critical document I was told we needed to have the goods clear customs. I was told he would have that document and I had to bring all the others. It turns out they emailed that document to me with instructions to print it and bring it along. Really? How was I supposed to do that when I was standing in the Border Services office when I got the email. Thankfully the officer helped me with that as the driver was at a complete loss as to how to resolve this. The only good part of the T-R experience was the team that unloaded the truck, they were great and very apologetic about the delay. It turned out they had another shipment on the truck to drop off first about an hour away so I ******* *** ******* ** ******** ** **** ***** *** **** ***** *** ** *** **** *** **** **** ****** Terrible customer service, I do not recommend this firm.

      Im sorry to hear that your moving experience was unsatisfactory. One of our practices, to keep costs down for our customers, is to fill trucks with more than one shipment, when individual shipments are less than a full truck. This means that certain running costs can be spread across several clients that would otherwise cost a much higher transport fee. Unfortunately the timing of when your shipment arrived at warehouse and when availability to deliver was possible did extend longer than we strive for.

      I recently used T-R to move a large shipment from ****** to ****** and to store it for me, for several months. They completed every stage of the process with care and efficiency. T-R have moved me several times over the last 15 years and I wouldn't choose anyone else.

      Absolutely the worst customer experience I’ve ever had. No accountability from the mover. Damaged and lost property. Brenda the general manger was the worst. Please do not hire this outfit

      Good Day ****************,We have received your BBB review and would like to respond accordingly. We understand the Allied *** Lines Claims process was a frustration for you and for that we apologise. It is however, their process and once a shipment is registered through the van lines, we need to follow their rules and policies.The good news was that items were found for what you originally claimed as being lost. It did take a little longer to sort the refund than expected but as you can imagine the van lines cannot pay for missing items that are not lost.We acknowledge the journey fell short of your expectation and appreciate the feedback we have received from you thus far. This will help us improve our customer services.Thank you

      DO NOT BOOK YOUR MOVE THROUGH THIS COMPANY. If I could give zero stars I would. Hired them to move the contents of my one-bedroom apartment from *** BC to *** NS in August 2022. They confirmed the day before (Aug 29) and then the morning of (Aug 30) tried to cancel because their crew had not shown up to work that day. They tried to change the move to the following day (Aug 31) which would not work for when I had to vacate as per the residential tenancy agreement. I called back and requested they do the move on the originally scheduled date (Aug 30) regardless of what time. They begrudgingly agreed to this. They managed to pull a crew together and arrived almost 4 hours after the originally scheduled time. While I was originally grateful, they then contacted me a few days later with the final weight total which was grossly above the actual weight of my belongings (I made the exact same move with the exact same belongings 1 year ago and know what the final weight for that move was -anything extra that was moved this time I have weight amounts for and their final weight has been inflated by at least 800lbs to *conveniently* put it in the next weight class for them to charge me almost $1300 extra (original quote $7,872.60 for 2500lb move, "final" bill $9316.66). They refuse to ship my belongings without full payment, so I pay. I ask to speak with someone about the seemingly inflated weight and additional charge; they call, laugh at me & say there is nothing I can do, I ask to speak to a supervisor and they state that the supervisor can't call me because she's "in Ottawa" (where phones don't exist?). Today they call & say they are going to deliver belongings to destination on an 18 wheeler truck & complain that they have nowhere to park. I figure out where they can park. I get another call saying they have to transfer belongings to a smaller truck and that this will be an additional $400 charge, which was not in the contract. Still refuse to let me speak with manager.
