It is Capital Chrysler's position that ****************** and ********** received exceptional service from the sales and finance staff of the dealership. The dealership went above and beyond for these customers by providing them a loaner vehicle for over a week when their insurance company required them to return the rented vehicle back to the rental agency. There was in error that occurred during the purchase of their 2024 Jeep Compass which is being corrected by resigning ******** to corrected documentation. As such it is Capital Chrysler's belief this review is unwarranted.

Bought a used vehicle from capital under the impression the vehicle needed no major repairs. Test drive was good no problems. The mechanical fitness assessment presented by them showed nothing wrong also the ad had nothing stating anything was wrong. Took it home, drove to work next day noticed major shaking while driving on the highway, took it to a shop after work and was told I shouldnt be driving the vehicle. Needing over 10,000$ worth or repairs for only 4 of the 11 engine light codes. Went back to the dealership and presented all of that trying to resolve the problem but was told by the sales manager I dont know what to tell you. My mechanics would have caught that. Sold as is nothing we can do now.

The vehicle in question was a 2012 **** with over ******* km driven on it. The sale was completed in good faith, the dealership was transparent with the customer, a copy of the mechanical fitness assessment which identified the inspected points that were compliant (passed) and non-compliant (failed) was provided as well as a vehicle history checklist. The customer was required to sign documentation that he was aware the dealership was not repairing non-compliant inspection points and due to the age of the vehicle and the kilometers driven the vehicle may require repairs outside those listed on the mechanical fitness assessment. When the customer notified the dealership of the mechanical issues he was experiencing the dealership assisted him by taking the vehicle back on trade and selling him a new vehicle with full manufacturer warranty.
