They are NOT HONEST with their Estimates / quotes and in general .After giving me a diagnostic report, I received a shady invoice without the cost of material and labour , NOT DETAILED ; I then initially asked more detailed and accurate invoice like what other reputable heating companies do but the technician claimed that all they can provide . I was surprised that with the same job control board replacement done by other reputable heating company last 2022 with a cost of $1,010 plus gst , the Romaniuk quoted me $3,484.95 for control board and 4 thermostats replacements. I demanded for detailed invoice and there was additional material and labour that WAS NOT DISCLOSED in their initial estimate . Since I told the operational manager that I was not happy with their pricing/ estimates and a technician who went ahead without waiting for my confirmation as a Landlord and without applying tenant's rights, I told that if they continue to do the job I would still investigate their pricing and asked BBB and Service Canada about going to the property without giving enough notice and approval from the Landlord / and tenant and Report the Undisclosed Repair Estimates . The operational manager instructed the technician to stop the job and left the thermostats on counter , other thermostat was hanging on the wall and electrical wirings were exposed . Then he sent me an invoice to pay $ ******** for 3 hours Labour and Parts restocking fee .

The installer that installed are furnace and ac unit did a very poor installation.used all are old pvc pipe same electrical charged for all new stuff. The price for the furnace and installed $4000.00 price on the ac unit and installed $4200.00 they did not stick to this price of $8200.00 at the end of the job they gave us a bill for $15400.00 plus 17.9 percent interest they are try to rip us off $7200.00 so we never paid.we agreed on the the amount of $8200.00 that is all we will pay not some maid up number I'm a senior on a fixed income and they want to rip me off $7200.00.They do crappy work and try to rob you worst company ever.Romaniuk Heating & Air Conditioning Ltd.

So after reading the reviews I decided to give Romaniuk a call. They got me in in decent time and gave me a time frame of **** when the tech would arrive. The tech didnt arrive until 5:45. Ok no issue stuff happens. I got a AC tune up. He comes in, looks at my furnace says everything looked great. Didnt change out the furnace filter as I just did that. Went outside, checked it over said everything looked good and my refrigerant was low. He went back to his van, was on his phone for a bit then he comes back with the refrigerant tank. Tops it up. Puts everything back says all is good. He puts his tools away and comes in to tell me how much it was. He told me it was $478.80. Excuse me. The tune up was only $132.99 plus tax. I called them and asked why the lovely lady said the report wasnt in and management would call me the next day. I didnt hear anything so I called back this evening. Talked to the same girl (whom was AMAZING!) and she said the report says he changed filter, and topped up refrigerant. I told her um no he didnt change my filter and I was with him 95% of the time. She said shed have management call me. Management called me and he told me he was new and should have discussed Costs with me (to which he didnt) and the cost of the 1lb of refrigerant (which would be $287.70) is why it was $487.80. I said this is crazy. How is it that much? I didnt get any invoices, no paper work what so ever. To me this is somewhat shady and I will never recommend Romaniuk to anyone. What makes me angry is the fact that they could have done this to an elderly person who doesnt know any better and would have paid it not knowing!! At the end of it all I basically paid for the cost of the tune up and their cost of what the 1lb of refrigerant cost which was **** times less than what they wanted me to pay. Worst experience I have ever had and from now on, will go else where.Romaniuk Heating & Air Conditioning Ltd.

Had a new Air conditioner installed by Romaniuk. The job was done in a timely manner. The tech's...***** and **** took care to leave our home in great condition. Job was completed within one day and looks very professional. I would recommend this company.Romaniuk Heating & Air Conditioning Ltd.

Romaniuk has now done our two furnaces and AC in the last two years and they have done an exceptional job. The work that was completed was completed in a timely, efficient and organized manner. Everything looks very clean. The crews were polite, courteous and worked hard to ensure that the job was done right and to the highest standards. My furnace quit on a very cold winter day. I called Romaniuk and they sent a tech out about and hour later. Part was hard to find and it was a very old furnace so the next day, I met with a person to speak with me about a new furnace. We decided on a new furnace and they had one out to me the very next morning (a weekend). The *********, ******* and **** were great!
