Deposit Refund Policy.
The initial deposit is fully refundable 100% any day before 2 days / 48 hours to the service book date and time.
Cancellation within 2 days / 48 hours prior to the service booked date and time, the deposit is non-refundable.
Items and/or Damaged Items
In the rare scenario of damaged or lost items during the move, please notify us immediately. We will collaborate with you to evaluate the situation and ascertain suitable compensation or replacement by our insurance coverage and the terms stipulated in your agreement with us.
Insurance Coverage
Olds Moving Ltd. provides basic insurance coverage for household and office items during handling and transportation. With a release value of $4.00 per kg per item, this coverage is fundamental. However, it does not extend to chips on pressboard and particleboard items, glass and mirror damages, or scratches on walls and hallways. For comprehensive protection, clients are encouraged to secure additional liability/insurance coverage for their move.
Handling Dangerous Goods
Safety is of the utmost importance. Notify us at Olds Moving Ltd. if hazardous materials, dangerous goods, or unsafe items must be transported. Our movers retain the right to refuse the transport of such items to ensure the safety of everyone involved.
Liability and Client Involvement
Olds Moving Ltd. emphasizes that liability cannot be attributed to damages caused by improper packing or wrapping by the client. If clients participate in the move, Olds Moving Ltd. will not be held liable for damaged items or injuries sustained during the process.
Claims and Complaints
Any claims or complaints should be submitted in written correspondence within 15 days after the move or incident date. Olds Moving Ltd. is committed to acknowledging and addressing claims promptly, striving to resolve issues within 30 days from the date of filing.
