    I used Shaw Renovation and Contracting in the Summer of 2023 to do some window replacements, siding and siding-insulation replacement and some basic repairs to the exterior, while re-siding the exterior. This business is not BBB rated and Jonathan Shaw, the owner, provided a reason to me for this that sounded reasonable at the time, but in retrospect... The 4-5 week Project, that I was absolutely assured would be sufficiently staffed by Shaw employees was into the 10th week before it was finished and had only one two-man crew available and I only ever saw a labourer on site doing clean up one 1/2 day in the entire two months. A second crew, two of whom I'm not sure have ever even seen a construction site before, came on for a few days but I had to ask for them to be removed as their work area was horrible and my neigbours actually complained about the mess (with 2 guys standing around all day?!?). All 3 of my neigbours (both sides and back) complained about the construction "methods" being used for various reasons over the 2 months. In my opinion, I would definitely not recommend this Contractor to anyone. In my opinion, Jonathan Shaw was unethical and dishonest in some of the work scope and I found the overall management of the Project by Jonathan to be very Poor.
