      I tried for a few hours to reach a human, as their chat bot says, to help me without any luck. I get the " Ultra low cost" label but absolutely no customer service.

      My experience with Swoop flying from ******** ** to ******* was quite different from all the negative reviews Ive read here. The Swoop staff at **************** were super friendly and helpful, the flight departed and arrived as scheduled and my checked bag arrived in the carousel at *** as expected. The seats would be tight for large people, but they were fine for me at 5 7 150 lbs, and they reclined as normal. The base fares are inexpensive but the extras if you opt for any are relatively costly.

      SWOOP - HORRIBLE AND UNRELIABLE - July 2nd father with 3 teenagers travelling from ******* to ********* for a 6 day trip including a surprise birthday party being held on July 3rd. July 2nd 7:00 am- receive the itinerary and receipt via email (paid for 3 carry on bags ($186.00), 4 modifly ($40), 4 selected seats $108.00)- Total $334.00 departure time is 2:55 pm (airline recommends arriving 3 hours before)12:09 pm-receive an email of flight delay- Now departing at 3:30 Board the plane along with the other passengers at approx 3 pm 4:04 pm-receive an email of flight delay-Now departing at 4:15 pm 4:16 pm-receive an email of flight delay-Now departing at 5:15 pm 5:02 pm-receive an email of FLIGHT CANCELLATION! The best is that they use the reason "unplanned maintenance" which apparently gives the airline the right to refuse any claims for compensation!. All passengers were told that the airline would pay for a hotel if needed. My family got into a taxi and returned home, stopping for a bite to eat as we were all quite hungry after being in an airport for 7 hours! I Was not able to get another direct flight until after the weekend on West Jet thus missing the family birthday gathering and shortening our vacation by 2 days. SWOOP REFUSES to reimburse the extra costs paid for the flight that was cancelled nor any reimbursement for expenses incurred as a result of 3 delays and 1 cancellation! July 11th filed a request for reimbursement-no response September, filed a 2nd request, DENIED. No verbal communication nor is there a phone number for customer service!

      No Customer Service. Buyer beware! Not sure if they even have any live people working in their Customer Service Department or if they even have a Customer Service Department.

      DO NOT use swoop airlines, the worst business I have ever seen, I dont even know how they can be in business. Cost you 15 dollars to talk to a agent and the chances of that is a big 0. I tried for a month to get anybody from swoop to talk to but no luck.

      We booked a swoop getaways package in advance. One month before the trip, swoop airlines canceled our return flight and only offered an earlier flight date - it meant the only way we could keep our all-inclusive package was to cancel and rebook the hotel did $1,000 more. And of course, swoop offers no resolution. In fact, you wont even get them in the phone - everything goes straight to VM and social accounts send you copy and paste legalize with a link of where you can go to file a complaint. If youve been duped, dont get a refund. So a charge back and report them in order to lessen their ability to rip off more unsuspecting Canadians. Companies like this should not be allowed to operate in ******. Period.

      Flying back from ******* to ******* ** Aug 31 after few delay. Flight got canceled. I Re book next day. I was flying back with my ten year old grandson. Agents at the counter couldnt give us seats next to me. When I complained she say you can go with air ****** we refund your ticket or when you on board you can ask flights attendant.so I asked. His answer was you should ask a passenger to see if he or she will change the seat with you. The flight back had almost two hours delay and landed in ******** for refuelling. Passenger got very few updates regarding routes change and delays. So I dont think I will fly with this airlines again. Most important for me was to seated next to my grandson.

      Impossible to reach a Swoop customer service agent. Over 5 days now trying to reach them via messenger, email, phone, for my flight that was to leave this morning, August 3, 2022. No response & now too late. Needed assistance to change my flight with the Modifly I purchased. I'm fine with the restrictive "Modifly rules" of the same name on ticket and between the same two destinations, no credits/refunds etc... however, flights are not posted further out than 6months and I need to change my flight to 1 year out... nothing in the fine print about this. Buyer beware & even if you read the "fine print" you still wouldn't know! Seems like once you submit any payment, that money is gone whether or not they deliver any service. ***** **** **** ****** ** ******* **

      Like hundreds of passengers, Swoop left us stranded between ******* and ******* - switching and canceling flights. We were directed to find the next available flight through WestJet - who basically did the same. We are now out over $5000 in extra fees without recourse other than small claims court. Yes, we filed a claim through their site but never heard back from them. The claim isn't even assigned a number. Never received a call or an email. Now we have to go to court. What a wonderful code of service: If you arent satisfied, take us to court. Can I leave less than a star?

      ****** .R.My return flight was cancelled as well. They gave me a suggested return from ****** for the same day as I land only 45 minutes later. Not acceptable. Then say or you can reschedule another return so I go online and the flight I was supposed to be on is still there and taking passengers, but for me to book (re-book) that one it was going to cost me another ****** dollars or so. How is that right. False advertising and scamming is what I say. My star rating would be zero but it won't let me pick that.
