On March 27th, I went in for a routine cleaning they said would be complimentary. I was instead meet with MULTIPLE Unfair Trade Practices. They took Xray and I inquired multiple times about the teeth cleaning. Instead, they tried to up sale me on a $270 deep that cost cleaning and multiple teeth crowns. They conveniently waited until the end of my session to drop this info on me. Unfair Trader Practices they're committing according to my experience and other complaints:-False Representation -Bait and Switch -Tied Selling -Misleading Consumers I just want a refund of the $150 I spent for wasting my time and not providing anything of value. I'm already in the process of contacting the ************************. I also want them to remove my personal info from there data base, I have no intent of ever using them again and don't want additional billing issues.

The Mint Freedom plan is non-refundable. The patient was diagnosed with deep prophylaxis, and completing a regular prophylaxis does not meet the required standard of care. Additionally, the patient has disputed the charge with their bank, and the matter is currently under review.

I was lied to and lead to believe I had to get one procedure done in order to get the one That I actually needed to get which, in turn depleted my insurance for the year, causing me extended pain and suffering having to wait for the next insurance cycle. The siphoning of my insurance *********'s not only immoral but illegal and I deserve justice. I am not sure if the company itself is complicit in the actions of this one dental office, but I know that the staff across the board At mint dentistry *************** are all in cahoots. I have complained several times about this particular woman, the same woman who told me that I had to get my teeth cleaned in order to get a filling, the same woman who laughed at me when I called in agony over the phone -asking and pleading for help, the same woman that hung up on me when i needed copies of my x rays in order to switch to a more professional dental establishment. The woman I speak of still works there today, and that's unacceptable, and I warn against this particular dentistry. To call and complain about, extended pain in such a sensitive region of the human anatomy- due to the negligence and possibly illegal actions by a group that you put your trust in just to hear them laughing and joking in the background, it's heartbreaking.

I went in for my appointment, and I was told that they had to cancel my appointment. I didn't receive a cleaning or exam. However, Mint Dentistry still billed my insurance company for services they never provided.I spoke to the manager ******** about this and she said she would resolve it. She lied because I spoke to my insurance company and they never received paymrby. I spoke to ******** on Friday and today March 24th, 2025 and she said she would call back-no call back or response. They have lied to my insurance company and received payment for services they didn't perform and now they're giving me the run around.

I am rejecting this response because:  I do not trust them to complete any work on my teeth nor any family members. I was ignored for a whole year while I simultaneously paid for a service that I did not receive. Unnecessarily 5 of my teeth were pulled which caused me great stress and  emotional damage my self esteem. Not to mention money that paid out of pocket and the money they billed my insurance company for work never completed nor delivered.(Fraud) I had to pay $10,000.00 for another Dentist to fix the mess that was made.

I would like all funds refunded

solution. For a whole year, she has not responded and will not take my phone calls. I am EXTREMLY disappointed and will be contacting my insurance company about possible fraud as they paid for services I never recieved.

I am rejecting this response because:  there has been no refund receipt, or proof anything has been refunded. The additional $150 was not a credit paid by me, if was a credit supplied by **** to assist in the rework of my crown; after investigating the notes from the work done in Arlington, **, they found  no sufficient evidence that I was uncooperative in getting my crown finished. It was lost at the lab during the pandemic, and I even came in for 2 cleanings during the time they claim they were not able to schedule the permanent crown with me. The inappropriate conduct was surely on the part of **** and its representatives the dismissal seemed to be introduced as a way to silence me as a customer. Mint doesnt want to honor the credit that two of their representatives confirmed on recording that was to be due to me. This company has been unprofessional and a joke.

Patient seen for a crown prep in 2018 and was not compliant in returning to deliver the final crown. The patient was seen in a office this year and was told the crown needed to be redone. The patient believed she had a credit, of $150 and a prepayment of $300. After a full audit of the account, the patient did not have a credit of $150. The prepayment of $300 was refunded back to the patient on 2/25/2025. The patient was dismissed from our practice due to unacceptable behavior and being noncompliant on treatment.

The truth is, I was under the impression that adjustments were included in the total cost of the dentures because I consulted several dentists and they all told me the same thing: adjustments are included in the cost, and patients come back 6-8 times for adjustments. When you mentioned that I missed my appointment, the only appointments required were the six-month denture adjustments. I had an appointment on December 6, 2024, which was within the six-month period. The office called me and informed me that they were no longer open on Fridays of that date and that I had to reschedule my appointment. My rescheduled appointment was for February 3, 2025. During that visit, the dentist adjusted the dentures by applying a plastic mold inside them to improve their fit. He advised me to contact him a few days later to let him know how they fit. He also stated that if they didnt fit, he would have to send them back and have them remade.

When I brought up the request for a new set of dentures, the dentist clarified that he would have to send them back to be remade. In fact, he mentioned new dentures, instead of another adjustment. We left the office feeling frustrated, as most people have to have a second set made due to the number of adjustments required. Per the dentist, the pair of dentures that I received are called. The walk out the door set because 60% of people have to get a second pair because of the multiple of adjustments required. My next appointment with the dentist was on February 11, 2025, when I thought he would send the dentures back as he had stated. However, he first mentioned the possibility of additional costs for having the dentures sent back, which I pointed out was not what he had initially said.

When I made my final appointment on 2/11/25 and spoke with the manager of Mint Dentistry, she assured me that there would be no additional costs, as they were all covered in the previous full payment for adjustments. After the last adjustment, the dentures became too tight on the left side of my gums. The dentist didnt ask me if I thought more adjustments would be beneficial. Instead, he quickly suggested purchasing new dentures rather than discussing adjusting the ones I already have. I believe that only adjusting the left side of the dentures would be necessary, as the new molding he used fit better. I want to make it clear. I did not request new dentures, only adjustment for the set I currently have.

The patient was presented for another denture adjustment. He originally purchased his intermediate denture in February 2024. We informed the patient that while we can proceed with another reline, it would be an out-of-pocket expense. The patient was under the impression that all reline and adjustments would be provided at no cost

We reviewed patient visit history and noted that his first adjustment was completed on April 12, 2024, followed by additional adjustments on April 15, 2024, April 19, 2024, and June 6, 2024. The patient has not attended any of his scheduled six-month follow-up appointments but has returned multiple times for adjustments.

The patient expressed his desire to have his dentures remade at no cost in order to transition to implant-supported dentures. We clarified the policy, explaining that while adjustments were included for a period of time, relines and denture remakes are separate services that require additional costs. We offered to discuss potential treatment options and financing if he wished to proceed with implant-supported dentures.

Patient was informed of the next steps and encouraged to schedule regular follow-ups to ensure the longevity and fit of his dentures.

      Business Response

      Date: 04/23/2025

As per the signed consent from the patient, minor adjustments and temporary relines are included in the immediate denture fee, but only for a period of 6 months. After this 6-month period, any further adjustments will be charged to the patient. However, we continued to provide adjustments at no cost beyond the 6-month period. The last adjustment was made on 03/20/2025, and the immediate denture was delivered on 03/22/2024. Any addition adjustments or remake will be charged to the patient.

Hello, today I went to mint dentistry for a 1pm appointment and upon arrival, the front desk lady was extremely kind and trying to overlook my insurance to verify new billing information being that my insurance started over this month. I was in the middle of gathering the treatment plan as well as trying to retrieve info from a ****** approval. I was trying to explain to him once he mentioned that I have a balance to pay, that it was already $650 on my account! He started saying he had to see where the money came from. It ended with him yelling, disrespecting me and my mother

We scheduled an appointment on the 03rd of December. We received a confirmation of that appointment via email at 4:25 confirming the appointment. My wife is a school teacher, so her time off in the school year is very limited. We scheduled this appointment almost a month ago and walk in today to find our appointment had been canceled. This took time from family Christmas gatherings out of town. We left early for this appointment.
