      Business Response

      Date: 05/13/2025

ADP, Inc. (ADP) thanks the Better Business Bureau for taking the time to bring the above-referenced matter to our attention. The consumer's employer utilizes ADP to process the employer's wage garnishment orders, disburse funds associated with those orders and provide call center support services.
The consumer alleges the full amount of his debt was garnished from his wages and that his wages are being over deducted in the amount of $700.00 for a garnishment order served on his employer, past the legal end date.
Upon hearing from the consumer about his complaint in reference to the over deduction he experienced, it was confirmed that a total of $677.84 resulted in an over deduction. This was due to a processing error. ADP regrets the error and contacted the creditor to recoup the over- payment. The creditor confirmed the over payment has been refunded to the consumer. We have contacted the consumer to share the information and understood the refund was being issued back to him. With the refund issued to the consumer, he has been made whole. Nevertheless, we understand this matter is upsetting to the consumer and assure him we take our responsibilities seriously and will be examining the matter to learn from it.
We appreciate the consumer bringing this matter to our attention. We understand he had a disappointing experience with his communications with ADP and we will follow up internally to improve our support services. We regret the issue with the consumer’s deductions and have remediated the issue. We thank the BBB for the opportunity to respond.

I have disputed multiple time with ADP and WISELY about a few of unauthorized charges on my card which I no longer used, In august 09, 2023 I called to dispute multiple unauthorized charges in my card from 7/17 to 8/09 for a total of $1110.3. I was credited on multiple dates for a total of $1412.7 from 8/11 to 8/30 I was credited over by a total of $302.4. I did not notice that, from 9/12-9/28 $1071.21 was deducted from my account when I called the dispute department, they stated because they credited me double of what I originally disputed which is not correct, I am not sure how their team made that mistake and they took my hard earn money away from made my account -$303.04. I requested an explanation from them for years to recover the amount I lost; they couldn't provide any evidence where they paid me double or even provide any hard fact regarding my dispute. I will upload their bank statement I pulled from wisely app. Thank you.

Upon receipt of this complaint, we confirmed that we have previously responded to your prior complaints regarding the same purported issue. Relating to your dispute fraud claim initiated on August 9, 2023, for sixty-two transactions totaling $1,104.81 that posted to your account between July 17, 2023, and August ******, your card was locked to prevent any further unauthorized activity.Records show you activated a replacement card you received directly from your employer on August 10, 2023. Our investigation began immediately after the transactions were reported, and on August 11, 2024, and August 12, 2023, we sent communication to the address on file advising of the merchant credits that posted to the account totaling $33.60. Therefore, at the time, the disputed amount due to you totaled $1,071.21. Records show on August 22, 2023, and August 30, 2023, your account was provisionally credited for $720.21 and $351.00, respectively, for the dispute claim totaling $1,071.21 and notification letters were sent to your address on file on the respective days.
