Their customer service doesn't care if the customers don't have a working washer and they refuse to just replace the appliance if the part is on back order. They keep telling you "I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you" or "Call the servicer to tell them to call us directly if they are having issues with getting the part"

I purchased a new home in Dec 2023 and had all Whirlpool appliances installed to include a washer and dryer. The washer has been fixed 7 times and finally replaced, the dryer had to be fixed, the burners on the stovetop rusted within the first two months, and now my dish washer broke at 15 months so it isn’t covered under warranty. I’d highly recommend against getting any products from this company. Poor quality all around.

My husband and I purchase a whirlpool refrigerator 25 cu ft without ice around January 2025. We notice the refrigerator had a exterior damage on freezer door. We called Best buy to request a new whirlpool refrigerator. Due to I am elite customer, I have 60 days to exchange my order. I received the new 25 cu ft whirlpool refrigerator in mid February. Around mid March the refrigerator sound very loud. We thought it was normal refrigerator noise. Early May, we notice the refrigerator was not cold and freezer was not keeping the frozen. I called Best buy to report the issue. I complained that we had a refrigerator less than 3 months. The whirlpool refrigerator completely stop working. Best buy stated to call Whirlpool company due to manufacturer warranty. Our food went totally bad and spoiled. I called whirlpool company explaining the situation. Whirlpool representative stated they would contact Quaker service company to take care of the refrigerator issue. Quaker service company came out the very day. The guy Matt seem like he knew what he was doing at the time. Matt unscrewreed the back panel from back of the refrigerator. He mentioned a leak and coils that need to be replace. I am totally confused about this situation due to this is a new refrigerator less than 3 months old. Matt kept repeating same words about coils and leak. He was unsure if he replace the coils, will it stop the refrigerator from leaking. Matt stated the refrigerator could leak in different spot. He seem very incompetent and unsure about refrigerator malfunction issues. Matt stated he need to order a few parts and it will take until Monday. We do not have a working refrigerator for the rest of the week . I called whirlpool company and complained that I need a new refrigerator. I believe that I purchase a faulty / refurbished whirlpool refrigerator. Regardless how much I complained about the issue. The supervisor keep apologizing. You wonder why we can't trust American made products.

I bought my fridge brand new and after a year and half the compressor quite working. Had it diagnosed by a repair company and they advised me that the fridge has a 5 year warranty for the compressor to contact them. So I did and they canceled 2 appointments on me because they want me to pay $150 for a tech to come out but tell me yes it's covered parts and labor under warranty but yet still wana charge me $150 dont make sence.

I have a whirlpool top load washing machine not even one years old. It falls underneath a recall I found online for a control board with a pressure transition issue called whirlpool finally got a hold of some a human. They told me that they would start the claim and I will be receiving an email. I got nothing tried getting back to them could not reach a human being after 7 1/2 hours of different times calling leaving my phone sit there waiting for someone to pick up no local company will come out to expedite this issue because they know they wont get paid Stay away from whirlpool Maytag Amana all that same c*** with the stupid six indicator lights in a line, theyre all the same pieces of c*** so now my only option is to buy a circuit board that they probably still have the same issue with to fix a washing machine that the circuit board cost just as much almost to replace a poor product. I am a single guy. I dont even have 100 loads of wash through this washing machine so I guess this is what I get for buying a new product. Shame on you whirlpool you are literally stealing peoples hard earned money horrible horrible customer service But then again it has to be existent to be called. Horrible because its like you guys dont even exist when you try getting hold of you disgusting.

I purchased a whirlpool side-by-side fridge on 3/12/2025. Delivered on 3/14/2025. 4/30/2025 it stopped working. I arrived home and everything in the freezer was thawed out and the fridge side was warm. A technician wasn't able to come out until almost a week later! It's noisy and runs continuously and does not get cool AT ALL!!! There seems to be no insulation, as everything went bad so quickly (which tells me that during a power outage the same thing would happen). The tech came out and said there is a sealed system issue and the compressor, drier and evap needs to be replaced (in a brand new fridge?!), but that the parts are on backorder for a few WEEKS! What am I supposed to do to have food in the house for me and my family for WEEKS until the part comes in? The retailer won't refund my money, and neither will Whirlpool. I've been robbed completely by both companies, as I paid for the fridge in full! They have my money and I have a piece of junk taking up space and doing nothing! All they keep saying is the warranty only covers parts (parts that are not available for weeks)... why am I even having to have this done on a fridge that's less than two months old! I want a full refund and for them to take this junk out of my house so that I can buy something else that will actually work for more than a month and a half!Quality manufactured products are a thing of the past. These companies make c*** products (quantity, not quality) that don't last for anything and charge an arm and a leg for them (and then sell an extended warranty that's useless because it doesn't 'go into effect' until the one-year limited warranty is up). Hundreds in food wasted and a high energy bill for a fridge that stopped working in less than two months.
