On December 8, 2016 this company was brought to the attention of BBB through a Scam Tracker submission. Upon BBB investigation it was determined that the company website is registered in Panama and the address given is a private residence. BBB urges using extreme caution when dealing with this business, funds sent through Money Gram or Western Union are not traceable, and the company continues to request further payments for climate controlled carriers without ever delivering the promised puppies. BBB has not been able to verify the location at the given address, and on December 16, 2016 the company website listed a new address, again a private residence. On December 29th, a review of the company website shows a new phone number in Toledo area.

As part of an ongoing BBB investigation, on January 13, 2017 BBB was made aware that the company has changed it's name to Green Lantern Puppies using the same website, address and contact information. A drive by and google map search BBB discovered that the address was a vacant residence.

On January 19, 2017 BBB checked the websites for any possible changes and discovered that they are no longer working.

On March 29, 2017 BBB was advised that this company once again changed their name to yorkieskingdompuppies.com with a revamped website and a false address in our BBB service area. The new address given was also a vacant residence and any attempts by BBB to contact the company and verify have been ignored.

On April 10, 2017 after sending another request for information to yorkieskingdompuppies.com, BBB in Youngstown, Ohio discovered that this company now has a new address at 131 Hollyberry Lane in Prince  George, VA  23875 on their website.This office notified the BBB located in Richmond Virginia of this company and provided our information for their records.

The International Pet and Animal Transport Association (IPATA) warns that Pet Scams are impacting pet lovers worldwide.
“Scammers” offer to provide free or inexpensive puppies, just for the price of shipping.  There is usually no dog and no shipment, so please take precautions before paying money for services that may not exist. Other animals frequently offered are monkeys, birds, snakes, and small exotic animals. Unfortunately, these criminal “scammers” pretend to be legitimate pet shippers like Pet-Express and other reputable pet shippers.
 IPATA states that;
“Pet scam criminals often use free websites, Craig’s List, local newspapers, or Facebook to advertise pets that do not exist.  Expensive animals, like Bulldogs or toy breeds, are offered at very low prices.  Animals are offered up for adoption at no cost—all you have to do is pay for the shipping.  If you see an ad like this, chances are it is a scam.
These scammers are criminals.  Their goal is to take your money.  They will lie, they will tell you sob stories, they will send you pictures of adorable animals, they will assure you of their faith and religion – anything to get your money!  They use the names of legitimate pet shippers; they pirate websites; they illegally use logos of other companies.  If you see an offer that is too good to be true, it probably is.  It probably is a scam!”
Scammers also regularly use Western Union or Money Gram as a payment method.  Unlike PayPal or a recognized credit card merchant system, Western Union and Money Gram payments are often untraceable and non-refundable.
