Alert

The BBB in Southeast Texas has received reports from consumers that this business is acting unethlically. Investigation by the BBB is inconclusive as no phone number or storefront can be found to contact the business. Attempts to email the business have gone unanswered. A consumer filed a complaint that alleges a fraudulent transaction. The consumer made application for a business loan, providing confidential information in the application. The business (Silveredge) required the loan applicant to pay $600 up front for "processing and legal fees." The consumer had numerous communications with the business until the time they paid the business $600. At that time, communication from the business to the consumer ended. This led to an investigation by the BBB in Southeast Texas. The BBB made a storefront visit to the business and learned that there was no storefront and the address the business was operating under was a vacant lot. The phone number for the business only leads to voicemail. Through the investigation process the BBB learned that the URL for the business traced back to Australia as did the "legal team" that the business claimed to use. The business failed to respond to BBB correspondence. The BBB in Southeast Texas is concerned that this business is operating overseas and unethically charges consumers "up front" fees. Once these fees are collected, the business ceases all communication with consumers.
