"Tereion Gadsden and I went into the local children's place store on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 around 7:10pm and when I got there I told my kids that we may have missed the store because the door was closed and I have never walked in the mall and had to actually open the door when visiting the store, so when I pulled the door it opened and I was on the phone when I walked in and my two girls walked in behind me well the employee behind the counter started yelling close the door so at first I didn't realize they were talking to my kids then another employee started yelling close the door and then both of them said what wrong close the door so me as a parent after hearing the tone that they both used with my kids I said hold up you will not speak to my kids like that and the store closes at 8 this is not your house and we came in here to spend money and purchase items it is not our responsibility to close the door behind us and it's not a requirement so the girls behind the counter said she will not ring up none of my items and that she wanted me to get out of the store now before she called the police I told her that I shouldn't have to leave the store just because you want the door closed this is a place of business where is the manager she then said that she was the manger and did not provide her name after looking around the store I asked the other employee where was the kids belts she then started to tell me and the girl that was behind the counter told her do not help me and don't speak to me and that she was calling the police." ...
