On May 18, 2018 the BBB of Western Pennsylvania contacted the parent company of Nationwide Processing Services who confirmed that they have been out of business since 2013.
BBB has been receiving reports of consumers getting messages from Nationwide Processing Services threatening legal action against them. As of April 2022, BBB was made aware that individuals are receiving messages from Nationwide Processing Services. These messages allegedly state, that the consumer will be receiving a scheduled delivery of a legal notice or summons. BBB has determined the messages are from an impostor and not from Nationwide Processing Services.
