3. Still waiting for my microwave to be fixed!! Almost 2 months now, Gerhards appliance repair company “Fast Appliance” has come out several times, said they were waiting for a back ordered part, part came in a week and half ago and it was the wrong part that was ordered. I have received no calls letting me know when these new parts will be in. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND PURCHASING FROM GERHARDS OR BUYING A KITCHENAID PRODUCT. The microwave was one month old when it stopped working. This is unacceptable. The customer service from Gerhards and KitchenAid is unprofessional and they could care less once the sale is complete.
2. We received our appliances mid November and about mid December our KitchenAid Microwave stopped working, I called Gerhards and they sent their appliance repair company out who was here for over an hour and then told me the microwave had to come off the wall, I told him we would take it down, he said he did not have time so we had to wait another week, at this visit we were told it needs a part that is back ordered and no idea when this part would come in. I called Gerhards and requested a new microwave, they said a request was sent to KitchenAid, I have had to call them every week since the beginning and there was no follow up attempt made with me. I stopped in the Doylestown store last night and spoke with Jason, he basically told us there is nothing they can do as there is no update and they have no idea when this part would come in, as he knew how upset we were regarding our experience with Gerhards to date, on our way out the door he said Happy New Year, completely unprofessional and rude. I called KitchenAid this morning, they were very professional and gave me the dates and process. WE WILL NOT RECOMMEND OR PURCHASE ANY MORE APPLIANCES AT GERHARDS IN DOYLESTOWN.

Gerhard's Appliance is a retail store operation. We supply appliances to the customer that are ordered by the customer and are sent in by manufacture. We do not provide service directly; we have no access to service records, parts or otherwise ordered from Service Companies. We can reach out to service companies or manufacturers on behalf of a customer in good faith but have no pull when it comes to repairs or replacement. Authorizations for service-related issues must be authorized by the manufacture. Once this authorization is obtained either by the customer or a factory authorized service company Gerhard's can facilitate an exchange or return. We have reached out again to the manufacturer and are awaiting their response and will reach out to you as soon as they provide an answer.Review fromJames M

Insufferable! Go elsewhere! Their website contains products that they do not actually have in stock. They will take your money and then call you hours later (if same day) to tell you that they don't have it. And then gaslight you about what you are seeing on their website. You could be out thousands of dollars and do not hold themselves accountable if you use the Amazon billing button.Review fromNicole G

After purchasing a washer and dryer through Gerhard’s, I would never return as a customer. They were quick to sell me the appliances but upon delivery both were damaged. In addition, I paid at purchase for door reversals that weren’t done. It took about a month after multiple calls and emails for them to reverse the doors because they never scheduled it and then they did not give me the damage allowance they claimed they would. They are absolutely awful after you sign anything and receive your machines. It took the threat of us stopping payment for them to even have a service person out. They wouldn’t return numerous communications and told me that they were ‘really busy’ and ‘weren’t supposed to get managers’ for customers. Absolutely inexcusable and unprofessional.Gerhard's

If I could give no stars I would. I purchased a Lg slide in dual fuel range. I normally purchase my appliances from Costco because they include everything including a 2 year warranty. Problem with Costco is their delivery team. Gerhard’s appliances in Malvern PA matched almost everything that Costco offered and LG was offering a rebate for a two year warranty. The install team came and the main installer added a metal vent to the back. I told him I don’t think that’s right since the oven actually sat about 5” past the countertop. This was very dangerous because the front left burner was right next to the sink. I called the Sales rep and he said he would have the install team out to rectify the problem. Reading the owners manual after they left it clearly said that metal vent was to only be used if your countertop did not have a bridge in the back covering where the gas and electric was. I do have one & mine is granite. After a week with no phone call back, I left a message for the sales rep. After 2 days with no return call I called the stores main number and asked for the sales rep. He picked up and said he was sorry he never called back he was busy with their Labor Day sale! Really! He asked me to send pictures which I did but told him that won’t show the problem but I also sent him another picture of how far the range sat out from the countertop next to the sink. I told her that I would do it myself and hung up. I am in my 60s so I really did not want to be moving a range. I did it and it took me about 3 minutes. I was totally right and the range sits where it should be. You would think that the store would have called me back, but this is not how they do business. They are all about sales and that is it. I am warning people not to purchase from this business. They do not care! If they did someone would have called back to rectify the problem. Shame on Gerhard’s Appliances. TLDR: customer service will try to ameliorate any negative issues and does try hard. Local family owned business that’s worthy of your consideration.
I recently posted a negative review of my negative experience. This was due to miscommunications by Gerhard’s. They did reach out to me and took steps to correct issues caused by their miscommunications. The customer service manager reached out to me today and was very kind. I highly recommend anyone who had a negative experience reach out to customer service before posting here, and for those scoping out reviews to be somewhat skeptical. Part of my issue was that the website did not explain the difference between an installation kit and the instigation service, thus I was really upset when no services were rendered. However, I never paid for service in the first place. As I mentioned before, customer service was really attentive.Gerhard's

I spent a small fortune with Gerhards add new appliances throughout my house, when my new stove stopped working I contacted their customer service department and was assured it would be resolved soon...it's been 2. 1/2 weeks, a ton of phone calls and emails...still no response from the service department nor an estimated service dateReview fromIsabel Y

To start …
The one installer didn’t really speak English and the other has zero knowledge of the English language which was impossible to communicate. That was the first step of a bad service which was lack of communication and just dumping our unit in the wrong place and by waiving their hands which was a way of communication and refused to do the right install!! We have purchased a dryer at Gerhards and when it came to the install and customer service that’s when everything went bad!
We had an existing washer which had to get moved in order for the both units doors to work properly which was refused upon delivery. We were never informed by our salesman that installers won’t touch our washing machine otherwise we would have been prepared and moved the said washing machine in the functioning position!
They refused to come back to move the dryer replace the dirty used electrical cord they provided and now too short vent piece that they cut which won’t reach now once we move the dryer in the functional position.. No matter who we spoke to we gotten cold negative attitudes with zero responsibly where it came to costumer service … there isn’t one !!
Eventually after few phone calls …
We were told it will cost us again for anyone to come back to change out their used electoral cord which has some dirty substance on it and install the too short air vent! This is not a good business practice nor a fair one to a consumer!!! We spent almost $1200. for this dryer and it’s sitting in our house functioning improperly!!!
Needless to say we won’t be returning to this business… who wants to deal with another nightmare even though we have to make two more purchases.. I would strongly suggest to stay away from Gerhards .. find another store!! Anyone would be an improvement!!
All they had to do is follow up on our costumer service concerns as they promise to all visiting potential buyers do the right thing and we would have returned to make the additional purchases.!Review fromTerry J

My spouse and I purchased a washer and dryer with pedestal for$3200 on 3/20/23 and it was delivered on 3/22/23. The installation appeared to go well until the team informed my wife that they were done and to let the washer run through the cycle. After about 30 minutes and the delivery team was gone, water starts leaking from one of the hoses and it would not stop. She called the delivery office and they indicated that the team was off and would not return until tomorrow. I called and insisted that someone needs come out to fix the issue. She then stated just wipe it up. My floor was covered with about a half inch of water and leaking into my crawlspace. Then she hung phone. I the called Jordan the salesman and he stated the same. They were not concerned about the water damage to my floors. He also, HUNG UP THE PHONE because i would not accept there nonchalant attitudes. I have been calling Jordan to arrange a refund and return but now he won't return my calls. I have only had the items for 7days today and have been trying to coordinate the return of these appliances. Some one emailed asking for serial #'s and pictures and stated that a refund may not be possible. I sent to them but no response.
I can't continue to do business with a company that has inferior installation and provides horrible customer service. I forgot to mention that the pedestal drawers have a broken harnesses on both tracks. This has been a horrible experience.
Now I can't wash my clothes at home or have another product delivered because these appliances are preventing this from happening and I can't use them because t that would give them a reason to take them back.

Customer was scheduled for someone to go to their home on 3/29/23 and this service was canceled by the customer. The customer service representative will do whatever he needs to do to resolve this issue for the customer.
