This is whats wrong with this industry. Instead of being upfront and honest about not knowing how to fix an inverter he just charges you a $250. diagnostic fee and stretches things out for months until you have to find someone else to actually fix the problem. He still wants the money for no real services rendered. Total scam artist!

***, as you wanted this to be a warranty claim there is a process that must be followed. As we told you up front there is a minimum of a one hour diagnostic fee and a service call fee that you agreed to. Due to the warranty issues we must first contact your ** dealership to explain the issue and get authorization. I spent over an hour with their technician in attempting to diagnose your electrical issue to get approval for any work. You had another tech respond prior to me who told you it was a problem with your batteries and he disconnected two of them. I contacted the battery manufacturer who stated you should never operate your Mastervolt inverter charger on only two 100 amp hour batteries as you had been doing for several weeks as that would damage the batteries. I placed a charger on your two batteries and returned when they were charged to connect them to your system. After connecting the proper amount of battery power we could proceed to continue diagnosing your issue. Your dealership referred me to the ** manufacturer as the dealership did not install the system and would not cover the warranty. After some time on the phone with the manufacturer, they stated it was not an issue for them and that I would need to contact the maker of the trumacombi as they believed that could be the problem and where any warranty may apply.  After a lengthy discussion with them they advised me that I would need to talk to the Mastervolt technicians and any warranty claim should be covered by ********** as it was there product that was suspected to be faulty. After contact with ********** I was told they would not cover any warranty without hooking up to the unit with a cable, application and computer so they could analyze the unit. I had previously communicated with you what the suspected issue was looking to be. You however made the choice to replace the unit yourself without any notification to me. You wanted a diagnosis but do not want to pay for any work that it took. I spent over 5 hours on your issue with all the companies concerned and charged you the minimum of one hour. This is the type situation that make certified technicians avoid any warranty work as it is time consuming and all the time is not billed. I do warranty work as it helps my customers. After several hundred customers this is the only negative response I have received. If you had any issues with the one hour charge you could have contacted us to discuss the issue instead of making defamatory, untruthful statements online.
