Pattern of Complaints

On March 5, BBB contacted Regenerative Corporation regarding a pattern within complaints regarding advertising, billing and collection, refund and exchange issues.  Consumers allege the company’s online order form is deceptive, does not clearly reveal the course pricing which in turn causes them to purchase a $199 online course they did not intend to purchase.  Although the company advertises a Customer Satisfaction Guarantee, the guarantee does not offer a refund unless the consumer completes the course in full within 30 days and requests a refund.   Refunds are not provided to consumers who did not intend to purchase the course during the online order process.   Finally, consumers allege when they contact the company to address these concerns they perceive intimidation, aggression and are threatened with legal action.

Regenerative Corporation has responded to this pattern of complaints.  In summary, Regenerative has stated they are 100% committed to operational excellence and recently made small changes to their ordering process to make their order process more transparent.  The company disagrees with the consumer’s allegations their product pricing is deceptive. Regenerative alleges BBB’s notice of the pattern of complaints is exaggerated based on the number of complaints filed versus the high volume of sales and positive reviews they have received.  Regenerative asserts the complaints are from a small number of consumers who failed to read their marketing materials.  The company also claims their attorneys have reviewed their order process and disclosures and believe their advertising meets legal standards.
