From January through February 2020, BBB received 12 complaints, four negative customer reviews and two scam tracker reports on Etax Intuit. Consumers stated after completing their orders, they received an email with their download; however the activation code or key was invalid. They were unable to reach the company to receive a valid activation code or return the product for a refund.

BBB investigation confirmed the company is not located at the address on the company website. Beardsley Auction Service is located at 200 Lowell Loop Rd, Lowell, Ohio 45744 and the listed support phone number is also for the Auction house. BBB does not know the current location of Etax Intuit. According to whois.com, the website was registered in January 2020.
