    I hired ************* with MKB in June 2023 to do the interior renovations on a house flip for my business. He quoted a price and a 2-3 week timeline, then got to work. There were problems right from the start. I want to be fair, **** encountered some unforeseen problems, but FOUR months later, the job still wasnt finished. My property manager/realtor had to hound him time and time again. Come to find out, **** has a full-time job and his business is on the side. I also found out that hed taken and completed numerous other jobs while he was supposed to be working on mine. Finally, the house was able to be shown to buyers in late September, but **** had to keep going back to the house because he left tools at the house. At this time, the house was under contract with a buyer. Their home inspection discovered that some of MKBs work was incorrect, so I had to pay someone else to do it properly. When he was finally done with the job, he sent me an invoice with an additional $9,560.00 for extra labor. Of course I was shocked. I asked if we could work something out on the UNQUOTED labor and he said no. Then he went on to say he would put a mechanics lien on my property if I didnt pay the full amount. I had a closing date in 10 days so I had to pay. Bottom line, I will never use MKB again. Do yourself a favor, dont hire ****/MKB. I give ZERO stars for him and his company.
