Pattern of Complaints
On Nov. 27 and Dec. 12 and 31, 2019, BBB contacted Allegiant Management Group regarding a high volume and pattern of serious complaints. During the past 36 months, BBB received complaints alleging the company violated the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA). Complaints indicated consumers are contacted by private numbers and are threatened with being served at home or work. If served at work, the calls claim a manager or security supervisor has to sign off on the serving with the possibility of jail time if the serving of papers does not occur.
BBB notified Allegiant Management Group about the pattern of complaints and asked the business to voluntarily cooperate in eliminating it by providing a written response outlining specific steps it would implement in order to avoid similar complaints in the future. In addition, BBB requested general information including the names and full contact information of the business’ principal officers and responsible management, copies of its promotional and advertising materials, the physical address of its principal office, copies of required competency licensing and a completed BBB Standard Business Questionnaire.
As of Jan. 7, 2020, Allegiant Management Group has not responded regarding the pattern of complaints or BBB's requests for information.
BBB has concerns about Allegiant Management Group's business practices and urges consumers to use caution.
